"I lived at the Quarters of Akron for one year (only left due to job relocation). I really enjoyed my time there! 1. It is truly dog friendly. I never had any issues with my dogs or the other tenants' dogs. Plus, the location has so many parks and trails nearby. 2. I rented the first ever renovated 2 bedroom - 2 bath unit and it was BEAUTIFUL. Brand new floors, painted walls, and an open concept floor plan. For the price, you truly cannot beat the quality- especially in Highland Square. And the option for covered parking was great. I included pics of the living area and kitchen but they don't do the square footage justice. There were two people and two dogs living there and we had enough room. 3. The location was amazing. I could walk to get groceries, the $5 movie theatre, and tons of bars. However, it was just far away enough from Campus to get you out of that lifestyle but still have nightlife. 4. There was virtually no problems with noise. The complex is made of concrete/cement so I never heard my next door neighbors or those above me (I was on the first floor). This was a big plus. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Quarters to friends and family. The new management is really trying to take care of its tenants and upgrading the facilities."

"I’ve lived at 211 for two years and I’m incredibly happy, in particularly with the new owners (management). Systematically they’ve improved the building and continue to do so. Just last week the elevator got a gorgeous make over. Additionally they got rid of the invasive trees & over growth outside and the exterior has a clean/crisp look befitting its original design. All the hallways were repainted and new LED fixtures installed. The Quarters of Akron is very quiet. Since the building was constructed mainly of steel and cement it’s just about sound proof with 12-inch thick walls. Its biggest plus is its location in Highland Square; which is a gem of a neighborhood. An eclectic mix of people with great food and arts just down the road. The neighborhood is the location of the insanely lit PorchRokr Music & Art Festival every summer. I’ve found the new owners/management to be accommodating, responsive and nice. I’ve had a great experience here."
