Ridgewood Park Apartments

"If I could give this place a zero I would. This is the absolute worse building I have ever lived in. In my apartment unit the heat blows out cold air and has never been fixed yet I have told them numerous times. The laundry machines NEVER work. On my floor there hasn’t been a working unit in a year and two months every time I ask about they are waiting for parts I find that hard to believe it’s time to buy from a new manufacturer. The grounds are covered in dog feces and the dog park is as well. The unit itself has the oldest cabinetry I have ever seen same with the bathroom. My bathroom ceiling was leaking once it took them two weeks to finish the repair every time I inquired about it they had forgotten about it , no joke I wouldn’t recommend this place to satan himself. I am breaking my lease and getting tf out of here asap it is a complete disaster of an apartment complex."

"I lived here from April 2022 to Oct 15, 2023. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. Maintenance Service is awesome. The staff is great, it's the ownership / management that is incompetent. (No wonder 40 to 50 tenants left in the last couple of months.) The stay was pleasurable, but my misery started after I vacated. We left the apartment in immaculate condition, but are yet to receive the refund of out security deposit and a half month's prorated rent. I have sent over 10 emails, and called several times and left several voice messages (as nobody picks the phone up) I got to speak with Seth Gotileb once (one has to be extremely blessed and lucky to speak to the office staff, especially the Property Manager) and he said they had processed everything but did not know why the check had not been cut, and that he would find out and call me back. Needless to say it never happened. (this was on Dec 19, 2023) I have finally decided to put in a case at the small claims court . Even if I have to spend $20,000 on a civil law suit, I will, to get my refund. But, if you are a prospective tenant, think twice before you decide to move to this building."

"I have really enjoyed my experience living at Ridgewood. While there are certainly downsides to any complex that you live in, I can say that the leasing office staff is always willing to listen and help. Johanna continues to be incredibly helpful and kind and truly wants the best for the residents. Outside of just ensuring that concerns are taken care of, she also makes an effort to get to know the residents so that they feel comfy coming to her with their needs. Grateful that she is a part of the team!"

"I have lived here for 17 1/2 years. Ridgewood Park Apartments does an excellent maintenance job both in your apartment and to the complex. The Leasing Staff (Seth, Johanna, and Dale) are professional and willing to help the tenants. They ensure that all repair requests are completed in a timely manner. The Maintenance Men (Anthony, Christian, and Maurice) are very thorough and knowledgeable. Our Housekeeping Staff (Yolanda and Debbie) are pleasant. They keep all common areas clean and smelling clean and fresh. The apartments are located close to banks, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The apartments are reasonably priced, have large balconies, and laundry facilities on every floor. Garages are available at reasonable prices. Pets are allowed. What more could you ask for."

"I have lived here for a year and just renewed my lease and happy to do so. The staff here is very nice both in the leasing office and maintenance. Maintenance is very proffesional and friendly when they come for repairs. Ms. Debbie who is cleans our building is also very nice and always keeps our building smelling good and very clean. The residents here have been nice as well. My apartment is spacious and comfortable. A plus for me is the spacious porches that allow you even more space. I would highly recommend Ridgewood Park Apartments."
