"This place sucks. Me and my wife applied last year for an apartment. They told us she got approved but I didn’t. So she would be able to move in but I wouldn’t because my credit score wasn’t high enough. Which makes zero sense. I even offered to pay 2 months of rent up front. They still said no. Apartments like this are dumb to make decisions based off credit scores."

"Nice small apartment, which is what I needed. Prices are reasonable and I could bring my small dog so that was great! Maintenance is prompt and professional. Which I appreciate! Has elevator and laundry facility which comes in handy. Office crew is very friendly and will help you anyway they can. Lots of parking and it's close to shopping, and restaurants etc. No issues with neighbors everyone keeps to themselves and are friendly with each other. Would recommend if you need a nice little apartment especially if you have a small dog or cat."

"If I could leave 0 I would….I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEY STOLE $450 from my account BEFORE I even seen the apartment. Just putting my card on for the application fee And they charged for a security deposit for an apartment I didn’t even see still. I hope all of you in the office rot Terrible customer service, apartment are small, no amenities worth $1000+ a month They steal your information and charge you days later with NO PROOF OF ANY POLICY. Freaking terrible no secured entrances, and these are “luxury” apartments Never in my life I’d stay here, they are money hungry greedy people that apartment isn’t making any money so they steal from potential renters. Slum apartments owners and leasing agents especially makala or whatever her name is!"

"Very lovely place during my stay there. Didn't have many complaints there was a maintenance crew that casually cleaned throughout the week. The main areas that might have been dirty were the back staircase, but I don't hold Valley York responsible for that because that was due to ignorance and in consideration of some of the tenants that stayed within that unit. I like that there were washing machines on every floor which is very convenient. As well the unit was good with handling my online purchases besides keeping them at the main office if able to, they'd have my package in front of my mailbox ( which is located inside the building in front of a camera). Some cons I had was not being able to control the heating system at my apartment. The heat is controlled by one central system, so you have no choice in the matter and how hot your partner and get which was a bummer because some nights I couldn't sleep at night even with the window open. Also sometimes I feel like specific units tenants grouped in certain units. Another con is I will say the walls are pretty thin; I could pretty much hear people come in-and-out the apartment from my bedroom as well as hear people walk up the stairs( Nonetheless it didn't bother me). And I was never given my storage room that comes with my apartment during my stay there. But for the price it wasn't bad, I left on a good note and got my deposit back. I wouldn't mind going back there if I had too. If I could rate this more precisely, I'd say between the 3.9-4.2 range."
