"The hallways echo like a canyon Because of the wind funnel that is created by the hallways. Doors often get accidentally slammed shut. The water takes 10 minutes to warm up. Drains are always getting clogged. They’ll charge you 50 bucks to unclog it, so do it yourself. Most of the residents are quite nice. I simply wish that they could restrain pets from peeing in the elevator, or the hallways or the entry doorways. Half of management is very nice and the other half is definitely not. Management is the main reason most people move out. It takes three doors with security precautions to get into the elevator. You have to be buzzed in by security or reception or be met downstairs by a current resident. If there is no one on duty and UPS or FedEx, or Amazon cannot bring packages to your door because there’s no one there to buzz them in. Around the holidays, you could see evidence on some of the exterior glass where people tried to break in. They were not successful. Cops are usually hanging around outside watching the place. The parking lot is tiny. Definitely not as big as it should be for a building this size. If you’re expecting packages, don’t. The USPS does not deliver packages to this building because it would take too long. Yes, they said that. Pretty sure that should be illegal. Rooms are decent. Don’t try to hang anything on the walls. It will not work. beware the cockroaches. I highly recommend you do some exterminating yourself and not just using Terminix because they suck. If you only use Terminex, you best get used to those roaches. I recommend Bengal insecticide. I mix it a tad strong. Two bottles of concentrate can be bought from Amazon for roughly $11. Each bottle is equal to 1 gallon of insecticide. I mix it more like 70 over thirtyish. If you’re Highup in the building, you will never have to turn on your heater in the winter. You’ll most likely have a window open because heat rises and it really does get that hot. The view from the higher reaches is spectacular. The wall of windows in my apartment is amazing. The balconies are only in the laundry room area. No apartments with balconies. The kitchen is smaller than the one in my RV. Appliances work well. I like all the closets (hall, linen, closet, pantry) even though I wish the main closet was bigger. There is no trash chute. You have to go down the elevator outside and around to the other side of the building to drop off your trash. In winter, this is a very cold walk. The trash bins are almost always full. Had a neighbor who got evicted when a relative surprised her for the Thanksgiving holiday. You’re supposed to let the building know when you have guests or are expecting guests. They’re not just allowed to show up. The washing machine is often broken. There’s only one pair per floor, except on the second floor. And that’s because the first floor doesn’t have any. There are two elevators. Neither is very large. You will not be able to get anything large to your apartment because it simply will not fit in the elevators. I barely got a queen headboard in there. I feel bad for the guys who try to take couches up. It doesn’t work. It’s very difficult to get a wheelchair in and out of the elevator because the doors are so small. One of the elevators is almost always down. We’ve lost track of how many times. Having Fligner’s grocery on the next block is quite handy. I wish there was some fast food on this side of the bridge."
"My brother lives in one of the small home's they're very nice he has health issues but he happy and knows everyone and most of all he like it there if he happy I'm happy for him."
"My floor is very quiet and they seem to keep it clean"
"The Browns seat cushion is quite comfortable. Also, when you’re there, say hi to Teresa."
"It's only as nice as the people allow. The maintenance try it is the tenants that are nasty... the management will not do anything about the trashy people and their company that go around harassing people. Its getting terrible and police and management are doing nothing about anything"
