"ABSOLUTELY DO NOT MOVE HERE, this place is absolutely infested with every kind of bug/mouse that you can think of, management refuses to do anything about it then still has the AUDACITY to charge you for the pests when you move. There is not a single redeeming quality about this complex, the neighbors are loud and constantly doing/selling drugs on the property out in the open, which I personally witnessed MULTIPLE times, hot water is out for WEEKS at a time, there is no heating in the majority of the units in the winter, and they still charge outrageous prices for every little thing they can think of. If you aren’t some type of super rich person who can afford to throw thousands of dollars into a literal pit, and even that would be more financially sound, DO NOT MOVE HERE EVER"
"There are many things to say of this complex. Let’s start from the most concerning: 1. In 2022, the roof was completely ripped off of the top of the far left building of the complex, repairs were done cheap and maintenance time of completion was laughable. 2. The hallways are probably some of the creepiest I’ve seen; completely uncovered massive holes left in walls for months on end, pipes visible. Floors feel like they could cave in at any moment. 3. Laughable snow plow maintenance. I always feel awful for any elderly residents, who are taking their own lives at risk just to walk to a vehicle from the entrances to the building. 4. Your water will INDEED just get randomly shut off throughout the week. Maintenance does not warn that this will happen at any given point as they do repairs that clearly do not have a lasting impact. 5. Incoming residents!!! Beware of sneaky repairs authorized by BRG. They are well known for making quick fixes that aren’t initially visible, just to charge you for them when you inevitably leave the complex in search of better quality residency. I got smacked with a $500 bill on top of my deposit for repairs which were never caused via damages from a resident perspective. Overall, if you would like the true slumlord experience, look NO further than Crowne Pointe Apartments! Where hopes and dreams go to die."
"Pretty good for the price, neighbors mind their own business and water is usually hot, would be nice if there was a quarter machine in the laundry room though. Stays warm enough in the winter but the hill this place is on top of can be rough when it snows. All in all not a bad place to live, not top of the line but definitely worth what you pay for it"
"Overall it’s a pretty good place to live and the office manager and staff are very responsive. There’s a great view of downtown Cincinnati from the parking lot and the location is convenient for the highway, running errands, etc. No washer/dryer connections in apartment which seems normal for the area but laundry facilities are clean and easily accessible."
"This was mine and my husbands first apartment. Guess the old manager decided to take that to her advantage and told me I could use cash for the deposit. She proceeded to move to another complex and stole my money. When the new manager moved in she called and told me I needed to pay my deposit. Needless to say I was furious. That should have been a sign to not move there, but at this point we were stuck. Move in day comes and we find out we have been bait and switched. We were shown the nice apartment on the first floor with a walk in closet. We got a smaller apartment in the back complex, third floor with a terrible laundry room and no walk in closet. We were also told the pool would be working in the summer, so something to look forward too I guess? Nope. Pool filled in the summer we moved in. Had not been working for about 3 years before we moved in. They boosted our rent to help out with utility fees and then proceeded to take away a dumpster. When we moved out (finally) it says in the lease the manager would call with any final fees we would have to pay. Did not receive a call. Did not even receive anything in the mail. We tried many times to make contact by email and phone. We even have her our new address. We knew we would have to pay some fees because that’s the apartment complex game. When I finally got a call from a debt collector saying we owed almost $700 she asked me if I knew about this, I said I had no idea. I still had to pay but she was very upset I was not told beforehand. This was some time ago. I never had to guts to post something about this because I didn’t want to face more penalties for living here. But people have the right to know. Even though the manager under us didn’t steal our money, somebody in their company is stealing. It’s unfortunate. It could be a great apartment complex with some TLC. Take the money from the residents that is not going to the pool anymore and update the laundry rooms. It’s in a great area. Nice and secluded and I honestly love the sounds from the highway down the hill. The manager when I lived there did start up community parties and giveaways. Those were fun to go to and it was nice to get to know the people living there. I hope things are being done to make this a complex people would be happy to live in."
