Running Creek Apartments 2340 Anderson Road, Crescent Springs, KY 41017

"Scam ⚠️ Stay Away!!! ⚠️ I rented one bedroom Running Creek apartment for little over two years until July 2022. I had to terminate my lease early due to family emergency and relocated to another State. Running Creek charged me 4 months rent for terminating the lease early and some nonsense damage fees. I left the apartment in perfect condition. However, couple weeks later I received a letter Running Creek had to replaced the carpet, changed cabinets and cleaning fees, so I have requested proof of evidence of the damages. They sent me some pictures doesn’t look like came from the same apartment. When I refused to pay the damage fees they sent it to collection agency, which impacted my credit score and I ended up paying close to $4000 thousand dollars. This apartment complex people are fraud and very unethical. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to rent in this place. If you are currently renting one of their apartments, please make sure take pictures and videos before handover your keys."

I didn’t end up renting here (it was a little far from the area I need to be in) but appreciated how helpful she was. She took great care of us. "I only gave one star because you have to give at least one to leave a review, this apartment complex is a terrible place to live, the management is run by all rude inconsiderate people, when I first moved in the place was wrecked, broken appliances and hanging light fixtures, I had a cat for 3 months and they said he did over $500 in damages to the carpet alone.... when he never went in anything other than the litter box ever. And the place was always vacuumed... I was told on multiple occasions the maintenance couldn’t fix the problem, such as the overflowing kitchen sink. But they’ll be sure to take all your deposit on move out. I would never recommend a hobo to live here. Awful place in my opinion, the pool is also gross, so there’s that..."

"Lived here for a year. At first it was great. About six months in some things in the apartment needed repairing and it would take them weeks to get in and fix them. Our dishwasher went out a month into moving in and was never fixed even after giving the office notice time after time. One we left we were charged for the damages left when there was none except the dishwasher that they never came to repair. Will NEVER move or recommend these apartments to anyone."

"One star is an overly generous rating. I lived at Running Creek Apartments for two years with my boyfriend and our dog. They are run by extremely rude, incompetent, people. The problems were endless. The apartments are run down and aren't properly maintained. Trying to get something fixed is a nightmare. The work done is shoddy and never completed. The maintenance comes in as they please without prior notification. And if they come while you aren't home they never leave notes letting you know they have been inside. The energy bills are outrageous due to the 47+ year old heating & air units and the broken windows that provide no insulation (or security) whatsoever. In the summer the pool is never cleaned. By June there's an oily film coating that collects insects by the hundreds. The fitness room is a joke. Rent is never the same month to month. All of that was nothing compared to the awful, astonishing, lack of customer service provided by the leasing manager. Jordan Story was rude, nasty, and had no idea what she was doing or how to do it and repeatedly lied. She harassed us continuously and the management company, Nexus, would do nothing about it. We ended up having to get a lawyer involved to get us out of our lease. Awful, awful place to live."
