"This is Sunday evening, my daughter just left our house crying because she doesn't know what she'll walk into when she get's back to her apartment. Her roommate has severe issues, she yells, cries, and screams. She slam's doors among other things. My daughter is taking a very hard class at this time and cannot study. Liz is trying to get a painter that is needed to get an apartment ready for her, my daughter did not want a roommate with a pet that is why she got this. I pray that Liz gets a painter very soon, my daughter can't take it much longer, she is a nervous wreck. This roommate has even called the police on herself when my daughter was studying and my daughter had to speak to a police officer about her. I am VERY concerned for my daughter's SAFETY rooming with her. My daughter should have never been placed with this girl with her history. The owner replied to my daughter's comment to please private message him or her about this. I have wanted to speak to someone higher than Liz and I was told I couldn't. So to the owner please call me at my home number as soon as possible & please get a painter in there so my daughter can study with peace of mind not getting hurt. Liz has my number, thank you......they responded they would call me, its been a week & not a word from them? My daughter had to call the police 2 nights ago due to her roommate screaming in her room. They will not get a painting for an apartment that is available for my daughter. Out of all of Marion & Delaware they can't seem to find one. Liz did offer my daughter an apartment with someone else with a dog, as I stated earlier my daughter doesn't want a dog as for the apartments are to small for one. Liz also offered her a room with three other people and that would be very difficult to study with that. We are waiting for Liz to find a painting so my daughter can be able to 100 percent focus on school and Graduate. How they could put my daughter {a college student} in with a roommate with severe mental illness is beyond me? It it on record every time my daughter has complained and had to call 911, campus police have helped me tremendously sending police record's to The Annex, my daughter's roommate has clearly violated her lease....if they can't get this apartment ready for my daughter soon and have zero respect for her being a student at Marion Tech then my daughters roommate that has violated there lease and policies that The Annex of Marion needs to handle this the correct way and take action. This has been horrible and I pray my daughter does not get hurt in any way!! Once again here it is the 4th of October and I have not heard anything from corporate as they said they would get back to me soon? So much for filling out an application on what kind of roommate, my daughter asked for another college student and got someone with severe issues. My daughter is unsafe staying here and with Marion Tech's campus police supporting and trying to help my daughter management will not get back with me as a worried mother. With limited background checks this is what you will get when a person rents from here, you won't know what you'll get? My daughter has been threatened, yelled at, listening to crying screaming for hours by and from her roommate. You all don't care, it is been obvious all you care about is getting your rent money and not the safety of the people that are living there & no security camera's also. My daughter and I have made a very huge mistake choosing these apartments to attend college's near there. I pray for my daughters safety and she will call 911 every time something happens until this is resolved......please do not respond to me by saying corporate will respond, they do not keep there word and as far as have a happy evening, happy Monday, I haven't had a happy anything for nearly a month now due to this extra stress that has been placed upon my daughter and entire family!! Saturday the 7th, I'm calling "6 on your side""

"I am a student and I just started living at the Annex. I didn't want a roommate with pets. I still don't want to have a rooommate with pets. It was hard for Liz to place me with someone without a pet. My roommate has severe issues. This person yells, cries, screams, and gets angry in just a matter of minutes. I don't know what I am going to walk into when I get home. I can't study or get a moment of peace. Right now, Liz is working on getting another apartment ready for me. But I have to wait for Liz to find a painter that will paint the apartment that she says that I can move into. I hope it happens very soon because I am trying to study and get a degree."

"No one ever answers the phone or is there when we have a question or concern. Lived there for a year thinking it was a college apartment but had a family of kids living above me that stomped all night so my roommates and I would always have to leave the apartment to get any school done. Charge you for anything and everything too! Definitely don’t recommend."

"SAVE YOUR MONEY! This place and the new management are a scam. They will charge you for every single little thing and even more that aren’t necessary, and not tell you beforehand. Basically F your security deposit because it doesn’t help you at all. They will claim you needed extra replacements and painting when in reality, they just want your money and act like it was your fault. Liz, in the office, doesn’t help or do her job whatsoever. I emailed her about moving out early and the process of that about 2 months before moving out and and still waiting on a reply months later but doesn’t hesitate to email you to threaten a charge LOL. This place has gone down hill drastically. It was intended to be STUDENT housing but then opened it up to the public WITHOUT background checks without telling any of their college student residents!!!"
