"When my family first moved here in 2017 It was great, loved the view as well, then our new neighbor moved in above us then it went down hill. She would have parties all the time (which we didn't mind the music) but her and her friend were extremely loud running up and down the stairs slamming the door & stomping when they walked. We would ask them to keep it down they get more loud trying to be funny. She had juice running down from her balcony onto our patio (which she didn't clean) she'd purposely pour water through the floor of her balcony onto our patio to be funny & it almost hit me and my cousin. Complaints/cops have been called on her numerous times by us and other neighbors as well & Alex did nothing, I've went into PANIC Attacks Because of the noise and had to use my nebulizer to help my breathing. Her sister (A Grown Woman) threw a sandwich at our door. They kept the outside nasty. Her son always played in the parking lot unsupervised. My little cousin(Her boyfriend's daughter) was walking around the apartments early in the morning with no shoes or socks on lost while she was upstairs ASLEEP. And my mom noticed she was her niece and gave her socks and took her back to the neighbor and confronted her. She's lied to the police and told them my mom went in her apartment and hit her even though there were numerous witnesses. Her family even got into an altercation with our side neighbors. We call Alex no answer, we left him voicemails and he still wouldn't return our calls. We reciecved a note on our door ( which my mother confronted him about) because my grandma brung her baby pit over so my mom could cure him from parvo, but when our neighbor had two baby pits staying there along with other people he didn't say anything. He's a horrible property manager and he most definitely has his favorites when it comes to doing his job and the right thing. This isn't even everything that has happened I just don't want my review to be too long. Zero stars if I could. Plus the police even told us it would be best to move if the manager wasn’t going to do anything and when we talked to him he said it was fine and we can go. Soon as we moved he sent us a bill saying we owe money and now we can move anywhere cause that shows up on our bg check even though we did nothing wrong"
"Horrible place to live, they show up unannounced and go through your stuff very uncomfortable! We’ve been here for 5+ years. We did a 90 day notice, and then a 30 day notice. We told them we were moving out after the 30 days was up and they told us we owed the next month rent because they didn’t have proof of us giving a notice. We gave them 2 notices. We told them we weren’t going to pay the next month rent because we gave them a notice then they told me they were going to get money from me no matter what. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!"
"Some of the people living there are trying to get my best friend kicked out of their all because they don't like her kids being their cause they have disabilities such as autism and mrdd. Anyone who has a problem with kids because they have disabilities need to get their heads checked. Kids didn't ask to be born with them disabilities. But oh the people that don't like my best friend and my niece and nephew are perfect and think disability kids don't deserve to live there. Get over urselves people and quit messing with my best friend niece and nephew. Thanks, bye Felicia's and Karen's."
"I have lived at Avalon for 9 years. They are nice apartments and are kept up nice. I’ve never had any major issues, staff is friendly and always helpful, and maintenance is prompt with work orders."
"If you are looking for an apartment at Avalon Lakes, I would hope you would consider elsewhere. While this place might look clean and friendly on the outside, management is rude. if you have one lease violation, you might as well plan on being driven into the ground with them. Staff is extremely rude - and when they enter your apartment, plan on your privacy being violated. Often times, staff will not make note of entering your apartment, but just waltz right in as in the place belongs to them. Have been living here for 16 months - and it has been a complete nightmare. Was threatened to be evicted when I was gravely ill. Neighbors have been known to sell drugs and use drugs. Look someplace else - I highly recommend that you do."
