"Prices are expensive but worth it. Food is good, fries are awesome, and I have not had an order messed up yet. Always correct, unlike most other hamburger places. I recommend this place."
"First time coming here and to start off; you will miss this place if your not looking because the outside looks boring and rundown, while the inside gives old dinner vibes but mainly setup like a fast food establishment. Almost everything in the menu is homemade and done with care and old techniques. I had the footling hotdog with fries while my wife had pecan ice cream and a grilled cheese. All of it was great and I'm in love with their chilli now. Think skyline but more meat, less runny, and more flavor. Fries were mediocre and I personally didn't like the cornmeal on the fried mushrooms but I can look past that. The grilled cheese is very standard but good and the ice cream is packed with big scoops. You'll definitely get your money's worth here and more. Can't wait to come again and try more!"
"The best thing about this place is the vibe. It is, at BEST, a 3-star establishment. Given how highly rated it is, I would not expect to pay good money ($4 for what equates to a small fry from McDonald's???) for soggy, freezer burnt, flavorless food. The old furniture and menu are cool throw-backs to a different era, but the underlying odor in the building is... not great. And the floors are unbelievably sticky. In its hey day, I'm sure it was a hoppin' spot, but I have a feeling management has declined, and the overall quality of everything else has gone right with it. Pictured below: -A $4 (small) plate of crinkle-cut, from frozen French fries -A $4 plate of flavorless, from-frozen, freezer-burnt fried mushrooms -A simple grilled cheese (which wasn't completely offensive, but $3.40 plus tax for two slices of white bread bread and one and a half slices of Kraft American cheese seems high, imho) So.... Caveat emptor."
"One word hot ham deluxe.. Don't leave here without getting one. Ice cream is the bomb. This is the place where my wife went as a little kid and it's awesome to be able to come back here when she comes home and they experience her experiences with our family now definitely would recommend and always come back"
"Finally got around to checking this place out. It doesn’t look like much on the outside, but it is a homey vibe on the inside you can tell it’s a great place for families from the affordable pricing, the outside seating, and a basketball hoop outside as well. I got a cheeseburger and onion rings. The cheeseburger came with tartar sauce, which was different but I did like it. The onion rings weren’t good. I threw them away. This is a place I would recommend to others and I will definitely have to come back and try the ice cream and fish sandwich I heard they’re both really good."
