"This was my second visit at this location and last. Today was the worst experience I had at a dentist. I scheduled a visit due to crucial pain in my mouth from assuming my wisdom teeth but I wanted to confirm that it wasn’t anything else causing the problem. As soon as I entered the back and said good morning how are you? The doctor responded YOU CANCELED your last appointment why!? I then explained for the 3rd time. I had Covid and didn’t want to get anyone sick. This dentist is very rude, impatient and talks directly at you and non sympathetic knowing you are in crucial pain for wisdom teeth. I understand I don’t floss everyday but I don’t feel I should be yelled at for this. I responded, I have gotten better and I have worked on it and improved sense my last visit. I asked for any remedies or medicine that can help and his response was no schedule an appointment and wait to see a the surgeon. I explained the pain was so bad I cannot sleep at night and focus at work it runs from my right side of my jaw up to my ear and back of my head. He didn’t seem to care and said that he couldn’t do anything or prescribe anything. He told me to schedule an appointment with the surgeon. I had to tell him so you don’t have any recommendations for over the counter medication or anything for me to help with the pain. He was absolutely no help. Social media gave me more information and help for over the counter medicine for inflammation and remedies to sooth the pain than this doctor. At a moment I felt like I was not going to put up with his attitude after being so nice to him greeting him and answering yes sir no sir. I will be looking for a more professional, understanding and caring dentist."

"Worst dentist ever. I know I have neglected my teeth. I came to see him to get information on getting my teeth fixed and to see if I needed a root canal which I already knew I did. Dr started lecturing me because I missed my appointment in November because my mom died. He had zero remorse and was an complete a hole. I do not recommend anyone coming to him because he talks down to you rsther than making you feel comfortable and helping you get the issue fixed."

"If I could give the dentist no stars I would! This place only gets the star because the dental hygienist is really nice. The office is outdated, equipment included! My last appt, Dr Katz wasn’t even there he was in a conference out of state. So, if I had questions they wouldn’t have been answered. Apparently, I had an appt scheduled during the summer. Lost the appt card due to moving into a new place, not their fault, but I was charged for the missed appt. Never got a call or reminder regarding the appt. When I called due to the concern, he stated that not his fault I lost my card and I was called. I check my voicemail daily, there was no message! He stated he missed out on more money than what I was charged. So, had I called to cancel my appt, it wouldn't have made a difference! It took me over a week to even get someone on the phone to speak about the charge. I called multiple times a day and at random times of the day! He had an attitude and finally said he would take the charge away. He asked me when can I come in because I was due. I told him I wasn’t sure because I have to check my schedule. I have 3 busy children as well and they have appts to different place during this season. He had the nerve to get upset, state he will take away the charge and before I could say anything he ended the call on me. Very unprofessional! I use to go to this practice as a teen and thought I’d go back. Never again!!"

"Wonderful office! Very friendly staff! I don't know how you could ever beat his years of experience. Best experience I've had with a dentist. Highly recommend. Family like atmosphere. I'm very pleased. No idea what these other reviews are referencing.***update. January 2020.I've said this before but I need to again. Dr. Katz is an amazing dentist. I've had a LOT of dental work I my life and he's my all time favorite for oral work. He went above and beyond to help me find an oral surgeon that works with my insurance today. He's honest and forward while still being personable with great bedside manner. I always feel confident in what he's doing because of his experience. I've also always failed to numb in the past (with 5 dentists) but he had no trouble."

"I have been a patient of Dr. Katz's for over 40 years. He is an excellent dentist, and I have always found him to be courteous and pleasant. His staff is top notch as well. Whenever I have had an emergency, they have been very responsive, and extremely empathetic."
