CareFirst Urgent Care - Bridgetown

"This place is so slow when it comes to emailing/sending results. I was seen and got tests done on a Wednesday, and I was told to call back the following day at 3, which I did, and almost immediately after I asked for my results, I was put on hold for 10 minutes, then they came back on the line and said they didn’t have my results and that they’d have them by 3 the next day. So I called, and again was put on hold for about 10 minutes, then I was told that they’d give me a call back in “10 minutes” while they looked for my results. I waited almost half an hour until I decided to call back. After the 3rd or 4th call, eventually someone answered and gave me my results, to which I asked if I could get it in an email for my boss. The lady said she’d send it over right away and so I waited for this email for another 15 minutes, and it never came, so I called back asking if they could resend it since I had not gotten it, and they claimed they sent it and again, I waited another 5-10 minutes for this email, which never came, so I ended up having to drive myself to the urgent care to pick up this note. I would NOT recommend going here unless you have all day to spare."

"The saving grace of this place is the nurse that I saw. She was doing everything in her power to keep the place running. The doctor claimed this wasn't her normal facility so she "had no idea what materials they had," when I asked for simple anti nausea medication. There was no asking why I was there, they charged me $100 before I could even speak about my concern, just to tell me they couldn't even run the test needed. Wasted $100 and was still charged weeks later for"treatment." Again, no knowledge of this was given to me, the customer. The dark haired nurse was the A team for sure. The doctor seemed more interested in taking 30 minute phone calls with patients waiting to be seen."

"I come here more often than I go to my PC just due to the convenience. They’re always quick and prompt. We have seen chander and the other young woman (I forget her name but she’s great). Always so professional and nice. Two of my daughters have had strep more times than I’d like to count, and our faces are recognizable by staff at this point. The younger female doctor has literally gone above and beyond for my kids. They listen to my concerns and have always maintained a great bedside manner towards myself and children. It’s a shame they don’t do primary care because I’d switch in a heartbeat. Thank you for always taking great care of my family!"

"Place was not packed so they got me in fast. The lady at the desk and the doctor were very nice. The doctor was very understanding and helpful. I had to call back because when I went to pick up the prescription I was informed that the pharmacy didn't have it in stock. I called this office back and they were able to change it quickly and politely to another pharmacy."

"I signed in easily and was seen immediately. Was a little disappointed that the intake nurse didn't wear her mask over her nose but that would be my only critique. I was treated quickly and was home with my prescriptions they called in for me within 90 mins. The facility is clean and the staff are pleasant."
