"I saw Dr Striebel 6 months ago. He didn’t say more than 5 words to me while I was there for a checkup. His “cleaning” was a joke. All he did was aggressively floss my teeth. He said nothing was wrong with my teeth. My new dentist seems to think the problems I am currently dealing with have been going on for quite some time. I’d give him 0 stars if I could. "Been going to Dr. Striebel approx. 10 years now and couldn't be happier. Most comprehensive dentist I've ever been to. Not too much he won't take on - doesn't hem-haw around with anything, just gets down to business. Other dentists I've been to like to sub out work. Last dentist told my wife she needed a crown on a tooth she had no idea even had a problem. I had already been going to Dr. Striebel so I told her to get a second opinion from him. He saw her same day she called, x-rayed and checked her out, and simply filled the tooth on the spot. She had zero need for a crown, he said. No problem since. If you're in for a cleaning/x-rays and have a cavity, be prepared to have it fixed same visit. This is how he operates - he doesn't like to waste time or have to bring you back. He's very efficient, and I couldn't care less that he's quiet. He knows what he's doing and he does it well. I trust him, and don't need much else. His assistant, Jodie, is so helpful - great team"

"Bottom line: Dr. Striebel does not take pain complaints seriously and does not seem inclined to include the patient in the process of their care. This simple cleaning echoed a lot of what other folks have shared; Dr. Striebel was extremely aggressive, caused me pain nearly the entire time, and got aggravated when I voiced that pain. Seemingly, after I had to tell him he was being too aggressive, he dismissed my comment and doubled down on his painful technique. He never explained a thing. I know the general process of a cleaning, but when a second staff member was brought in to assist, I wanted to understand what was going on but the doctor abrasively went on with his work. I have never left a cleaning in more pain than I did this time. Through his Google reviews and Healthgrades, I can't help but notice that the majority of negative comments around pain and rudeness are coming from women, myself included; noting that some men are stating a difference in care shown to them vs. their partners."

"I have been to plenty of dentist in my life, Dr. Striebel is hands down the worst dentist I have ever been in contact with. I have never been in a dentist chair where the Dentist sighs while doing dental work. He was so unenthusiastic and rude with me. I was suppose to get a cleaning and a filling. He cleaned my teeth and then walked out of the room. The receptionist asked me if I would like the filling done today, but I refuse to get teeth work done by someone who hates his job. Not to mention my cleaning done by him was the most aggressive teeth cleaning I have ever gotten done in my life. I feel bad for his clients and his staff."
