"Receptionist is kind but not very helpful when asking insurance questions and couldn't help point me in the right direction to find the info needed. Hygienist and assistant were amazing processing me in and explaining their answers when I had questions. Dentist was very professional but quick to leave once the job is done. Dentist did listen and applied ample numbing and made sure I was numb before working on my teeth. Scheduled two cleaning appointments to address small issues. When talking with billing and going over the bill and the processes they were going to do, they never disclose to me that they were selling me a $150 tooth brush that insurance wasn't covering. I never received the tooth brush the day of payment for it either. Had to call and tell then that I do not need it and without hesitation they refunded me. Very dirty business deals here and sad that they would try to take advantage of someone like that. Would absolutely recommend the hygienist, she was very nice and soft spoken and made sure I was doing ok the entire process. BUT absolutely look over your bill and plan here as they are out to make money on you."

"I had my insurance card, but was still informed that I had no insurance! Had to wait until I got home to contact my insurance company to make sure I still had Dental insurance. I did! Don't know what the person's problem was to go a step further to check my insurance. People are nice there, but need to go a step further in a case like this."

"I had been scheduled at the Troy location due to being the office with the soonest appointment. I am so glad that I was sent to the Troy office. Everyone was absolutely awesome and put my huge anxiety of being in that dental chair at ease. I can definitely say that Dr. Acker has by far the best 'chair side' manner I have seen. As a nurse, I could only wish that many medical doctors would have his personality. He explained everything he did beforehand and gave his honest opinion. I have two upcoming visits and this time around, I am not one bit nervous."

"Had an abscessed tooth that was causing horrible pain. I had an appointment set somewhere else but realized how urgent the situation was and started trying for an earlier appointment. After calling 8 other places for an emergency visit, I was thankfully able to make an appointment online with this office for the next day. Staff was very responsive and called my within the hour about scheduling concerns but still got me in for the date requested, which I appreciate. They got me started on ATB and scheduled the extraction for the following day. Had a cleaning and extraction done, which was completely painless. All staff I encountered were professional, kind, and easy to talk to. Had a great experience at this location!"
