"I needed to have a family rocking chair repaired and refinished for my daughter, who is having her first child. I needed it done in a certain time frame due to my daughter moving out of state. Pete's Furniture Repair did a great job on the rocker, it looks like new! And they got it done right on time for a reasonable price! Will definitely use this business again. Thanks to everyone at Pete's for great service!"
"Zachary just came out today and did a fantastic job fixing the damage my last move caused to my dining room set. He came within the time window, was very polite and got right to work. Natalie was also great when I had to reschedule my initial appointment due to my schedule changing. From start to end it was a great experience and I can’t recommend them highly enough."
"I have a piano, a very special piano, that has been in my family for over ninety years. At some point in the 1960’s, a great aunt who was in possession of it, decided to paint it pink. It was a bright pink!!! She did a meticulous job, using enamel paint. In some areas around the keys, she used a nail polish brush and gave it several coats. There was not a smear or flaw anywhere! I was very lucky to gain possession of the piano, but by 2000 it was looking faded and worn out. I debated a long time about investing any money to restore it, and I talked with over a dozen people about doing the job. I knew there was a chance the piano would not survive the handling. Pete seemed the obvious choice, and I was not wrong! And underneath that pink paint lay a gorgeous piece of work!! The job was complicated, labor intensive; the piano required some delicate dismantling and reassembly. It was very cumbersome to handle. But Pete and his crew patiently restored my beloved piano, and it is more beautiful than I ever imagined. I was very impressed with Pete’s knowledge and work ethic. His attention to detail and forethought about how to proceed were spot on! I wish him and his work crew much success for their dedication to quality."
"I had a chair that had sentimental value - a naughty puppy had chewed the wooden arms. They did such a great job rebuilding those arms - you can’t even tell there was any damage. I also had a few other sentimental pieces that needed repaired/reglued . They did a fantastic job. Initially they said it might be up to 8 weeks, but it was finished within a week. Very pleased customer."
"Brian repaired tears in our mattress and damage to our armoire. He did a perfect job, was highly professional and very nice. I would absolutely recommend to anyone needing such work. Also, check out Brian's toolbox. It's awesome. He said he made it himself in 1974. And the company was started by his father (i.e. Pete). A true local family company."
