"So paid these guys to do an engine swap because my wife doesn't check oil. Anyways a reasonable price for an engine swap. They told us the heater core would burp and we would hear noises for a week or two and to check coolant everyday. Which we did and haven't had an issue. A month later noises persist. We bring it back which they said to do if it continues. So they tell us we'd have to pay for there mess up. If you can't do an engine swap then don't offer it. I shouldn't have to pay to fix an issue that was caused by the service. We brought it somewhere else in Mitford. Which I should've done from the beginning since I've used them forever. The whole thing was a mess. They fixed the issue for 250 not 1000 like this place said they would. There your typical shop. They do this so they can make more money on another repair. Its hard to find good shops and this isn't one of them."

"Honest loyal polite safe fabulous people great mechanic and truly care about safety and very ez to talk n explain situations n circumstances go above and beyond to help. Care more about keeping vehicles safe and the people who drive them. More mechanic shops should take lessons. John n his wife provided me with confidence and help. They both took there time to listen to my HORRIFIC EVENTS caused by AAA n the shop that charged me over 500$ to lie about the real situation with my automobile. I am blessed to have had them brought into my life . Thanks for your help and not judging me for the ignorance others put on my plate."

"Have had multiple cars worked on here, as well as a few of my brothers cars. He does quality work. Very small shop but very affordable price. Never tries to fix anything that you don't want fixed. Doesn't try to up sell you on anything. Only shop I go to so I don't have to deal with corporate bullsh*t"

"I've been here twice and I can tell you my experience was not pleasant. Took my 2005 dodge truck in last year to have my recirculation door fixed because it was broken and not allowing a good volume of air to come out of my vents. I knew this was the problem because I had Holman Motors diagnose it for me but decided that I didn't want to pay a dealer price so I took it to John who for several years he been a client of my landscaping business. He had it for a little over a day and called me back to tell me my compressor was weak. I had told him about the diagnosis Holmans had given me and he assured me he believed it was the compressor. I told him to replace it. For good measure he replaced the blower motor as well. Spent almost $900 and it fixed absolutely nothing! So I sent my truck back to him and told him it wasn't fixed and that he again needed to look at that door Holmans told me about. He calls me several days later and tells me he finally found the door that I was talking about but that he checked the "blend" door not the "recirculation" door and it would be about another $600 to fix. He also recommended that I have my evaporator coil fixed while I was in there. I said ok. Which raised the price about another $150-200. When I finally went and picked my truck up another week later he showed me my old evaporator coil. At the time I trusted his diagnosis and assumed it was bad. I now have gone to school and do heating and cooling and realize there was absolutely nothing wrong with my coil at all. He just didn't like the slight amount of blue corrosion on it which isn't uncommon and doesn't mean it needs replaced. All in all a repair that I sent my truck in for which I had already had diagnosed coated me far more than what I had imagined, because for one the mechanic didn't listen to me. And for two he began replacing parts that didn't need replaced. This was a horrible experience and I encourage people to avoid this mechanic shop. His prices are reasonable yes but that is irrelevant if he is just going to be guessing at replacing parts and when he finally does get it right not try and give you breaks on the price because he decided he wasn't going to diagnose it right."
