"My absolute favorite vintage store in Cincinnati, hands down."
"Rob was awesome to talk to! Great selection and some rare items you hardly ever see. Definitely worth the visit. Will be back."
"I’ve visited this store twice and inquired about a piece of furniture on Facebook and the owner shows no interest in trying to sell his furniture. Very snooty towards young buyers. Despite the need to furnish my new house I will just purchase all MCM furniture from other sellers in the area that I’ve done business with in the past."
"Leftcoast Modern is a gem of a furniture store in the city, and Robert is undoubtedly one of the most knowledgeable and passionate curators in the business. The store boasts a fantastic selection of Danish and retro modern furniture and art, all impeccably curated to provide a unique shopping experience for anyone interested in modern design. Robert's expertise and attention to detail are evident in every piece of furniture and artwork on display. His keen eye for design and commitment to quality is evident through his products. Overall, Leftcoast Modern is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in modern design. If you're looking for a well-curated selection of Danish and retro modern furniture and art, look no further than Leftcoast Modern, and make sure to say hello to Robert, a true connoisseur of his field."
"Today I visited this store which I was planning on purchasing furniture from. My friend and I were looking at a desk and respectfully opening the draws. The owner rudely approached us and informed us we were closing the drawers to forcefully. We both live in a house with soft close draws so we know how much pressure is needed to close a draw with this mechanism. I showed him how the draw was not soft close and did require a little push to close then he once again rudely stated we were shoving the draws. We were nothing but respectful of all items on display. If you care about your furniture so much that you police patrons to the point where they leave the store without purchasing anything you should really rethink your line of work. I will never step foot in this store again. Edit: I was the customer. There was no ‘ramming’ involved. I understand how expensive the furniture is. I actually came into your store to look and possibly purchase that desk. When you demonstrated how to “appropriately” close the drawer you used MORE of a push to close the draw then we did. I even attempted to show you that the draw did not function the way you stated and you condescendingly tried to correct me by showing me the EXACT way to close the drawer which was the same way I had done earlier. If anything you used MORE force to close the drawer. When you first approached us I actually thought you were going to ask us if we were interested and tell us about the piece. Instead I was treated poorly. What really irritates me is you clearly did not think we were at all serious about purchasing items from your store when I actually was. I went out of my way to go to your shop today and I was not asked one time in the whole 15 min I was there if I needed assistance or had any questions which is terrible customer service. Also some advise: if you do not want people to actually touch your furniture or try out a draw maybe put a sign on the furniture that says “PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH”."
