"Went in for a used car inspection, told us the car was in good condition minus needing breaks and sway links so we buy the $8,000 car. Two weeks later the check engine light comes on, we take it in and are told the engine is rusted so bad that the catalytic converter has fallen off and there is also a leak in the exhaust that was expelling oil into the trunk (car-x told us it was "water and soap" from detailing). Car also needs a new starter, the airbag module is broken and so is the air filtering system. I co-signed on the loan for my little brother and it's his first car and he's a collage student and now he is in a horrible position trying to cover all these repair costs on top of a loan payment. The people were nice and seemed trustworthy but I don't understand how all of this was missed it has put us in a horrible position so I would not recommend going here at all."

"After getting a quote for nearly $3,000 in replacements we opted to have a set of breaks and calipers replaced for nearly $1000. As soon as we got it home Saturday night (after they closed) we noticed a new grinding sound. They replaced the calipers but the old part was placed on the axel and wedged between the wheel and axel. This was careless on the power of the mechanic and could have seriously damaged our car or jeopardized our safety. Then to make matters worse, the wheels were put back on with an impact wrench and could not be removed to fix the issue. Heaven forbid we get stuck a flat and be unable to fix the flat. This is never recommended for exactly this reason. We are insisting that they refund the cost of the work done and any expenses in correcting the damage done. This has cost us tow fees and we are still down a car."
