"They do not stand behind their product. Sent us a faulty cushion and replaced it with one that didn't match which you can clearly see in the picture. They do not care about loyalty as we have spent over 25k with them. They said there is no guarantee. Steer clear of this place."
"I would like to start out by saying the employees here are incredibly kind. Rose and the other staff have been incredibly friendly. However, the quality of the furniture isn't up to par for the price. We had 6 (no exaggeration) coffee tables delivered and every single one of them did not have a smooth finish (see picture below). There were marks and gouges all over every single one of them. That's 6 times I had to leave work to be home to receive a table. Think about all the PTO. We also ordered bar stool from the company. Came in to try to check the color and couldn't find a match. Checked the picture online as closely as possible, there was no brown in the photos. The chairs were delivered and there were flecks of brown in the chair. Brought it back to the store, was told they don't accept returns there and we'd have to pay the $300 return fee. Called corporate multiple times, spoke with someone about returning it, they said "we need to talk to our supervisor and we'll call you back" and they never called us back. When I finally got in touch with someone they said, "well you're out of the return window so we can't guarantee you can return it." We had similar problems during the 4 months it took us to get the coffee tables delivered, emails would just stop being replied to. Again, Rose and Margaret at the store here are phenomenal and I think they are wonderful. But the quality of the furniture is lacking, the corporate company customer service is poor in that they don't return calls and so on. The furniture looks beautiful far away but upon closer inspection isn't worth the price. The store employees are lovely but the corporate supervisors are not. I have had nothing but trouble buying from Arhaus and will not be coming back."
"Buyer BEware, we purchased a dining table last October 9, 2021, with an estimated delivery at the time of 6-12 weeks. We don't have the table. Although, when I visit the website now, Arhaus estimates delivery to occur in 9 weeks, for the same table, even though they know that's not possible. I was told, when I got though to Arhaus on the phone, that my delivery is now postponed to late February because the base is not available, as it it ships from China and the top is made in the USA. We were not proactively notified by Arhaus of this delay. How can they continue to offer the same table for delivery in 9 weeks, when I'll have to wait at at least 5 months. Arhaus, you need to be honest with your customers or stop advertising and collecting money on oversold merchandise until you can fulfill the orders that you have. Before I finally got through on the phone, we sent many emails requesting an update with no response. There is no excuse for not responding to customer emails. I am very disappointed in Arhaus and will not make another purchase with their stores. We had planned to furnish our new 5 bedroom (2nd) home with primarily Arhaus furniture. It's their loss, for what I consider unacceptable sales practice and poor follow-up customer service..."
"We have spent tens of thousands of dollars on furniture from this store over the last 20 years. Just got an email that the furniture we ordered in November (and was promised within 4 months) will again be delayed due to “industry wide delays” until at least July. I know that delays are not uncommon currently but if you cannot deliver a product within a reasonable amount of time DO NOT SELL IT!!! Shut the store down until you catch up rather than have your salespeople play bait and switch with customers to keep the doors open. I shopped at both Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel yesterday and was given delivery times of 2 weeks and 6 weeks for furniture items I purchased. And don’t think their quality is less than Arhaus - it’s all over inflated moderate quality furniture."
"The customer service of this location is stunningly poor. We purchased an entertainment center in the middle of March and were told we would receive delivery in mid April. I received no communication as to the progress of the delivery until I initiated a call on around April 20. I was told that the furniture would be delivered later that week. I received a call from the delivery company and was told that there was damage and they could not deliver. The sales rep said they would ship a replacement right away and delivery would occur the following week. It did not. I had to call and email a repeated number of times. Finally delivery occurred. When the item was delivered, and unpacked (after I had taken apart my TV connections and taken apart the old unit) the team onsite said it could not be assembled based in the pieces that they had. So, they packed up the unusable pieces left half the unit in another room and left. It was another week and a day before they returned with the correct pieces and final assembly. It occurred May 24 a full month after promised delivery initially offered by the salesperson. While I understand that things happen, the lack of communication, number of reschedules, broken promises would lead mew to advise this is NOT a place to do business with. They make you pay 100% up front, which offers no leverage on the back end of the transaction (i.e. “we have your money so deal with our incompetence”). Simply put, the price does not match the customer service one would expect."
