"I was looking for a simple desk and chair for a remodeling project for my brother, who has Down Syndrome. We walked in, and no one greeted us.After about 5 minutes or longer, a female voice from the very back yelled hello. We walked into the room that said chairs. My brother found a desk he really liked and that we were gonba purchased, so we looked in the larger room that could have a different style. We could see two women in two different back areas that saw us and did not make any effort to speak or ask if we needed help. My brother continued to look as I became very upset that the staff didn't even speak when we were by their desks. We were there for over a half hour. I'm temporarily using a cane because it's very difficult to walk because of an injury. After being ignored for over a half-hour, I told him we would not be getting his desk, which really upset him. This project was on hold because of my injury, and now, because employees were lazy, he would not get the desk he fell in love with. Shame on you, Mentor Office supplies, because this is the second time you have done this. I visited last fall and thought maybe the employees were feeling under the weather because I heard her coughing. We aren't a big corporation, just a family from the neighborhood that always supports small businesses over large box stores. Sadly, Your Neighbors"
"What a lousy experience. I called them yesterday to confirm their hours and made a change to my schedule so I could make it before closing today.. I walked into the store checkbook in hand but no one was there. Someone in the adjoining store that they share space with said they went home early. I drove a number of miles out of my way and at great inconvenience, but no one in this store cared to stick around to make a sale. So much for customer service. Well, they don’t want my business, fine. There are office furniture stores everywhere. I’ll take my checkbook to another store. I think you should too."
