"I am sorry to have to do this, but this issue needs addressed. 10/15/22 I had my oil changed on my 2000 BMW X5. After they were done i started my vehicle and it ran super rough. It was not running bad before and now the "check engine" light came on. I took a picture just in case. The mechanic was nice enough to pull the car back into the bay and look for a reason why. The light did not come back on and i told him that im noting this happened in case something comes of this. Driving a little later i smell oil burning and smoke was coming from under the hood. I pulled over and popped the hood, which they broke the latch also btw. I noticed oil was all over the engine block and the oil cap wasnt even on all the way oil was spurting out. This is a bad example for auto care and when i called and told them what happened they acted as if they didnt care. I am truly upset and letdown due to the fact i have been a Walmart customer for years. I have taken my vehicles over the years to various Walmarts across the US, tires, oil changes, other maintenance. I would like for the correct training and actions to be taken with this store. I understand mistakes can happen but if i were an unsuspecting customer or elderly that could have been very bad and caused a ton of damage also very unsafe. Who knows how many other vehicles have been compromised. I am hoping i can have above management contact me on this matter. I would like to continue to use Walmart for my shopping and auto needs but it concerns me with this stores practices thus far when it comes to auto. I have given my time and money also trusting this department with my safety."
