"They are awesome always take good care of me. The team is great"
"I'm glad I switched when I found out Rite Aide was closing."
"They do what you need them to do. Best make sure you tell them you need a prescription filled immediately if you are going to want to get it soon. I bounced around during the covid pandemic. CVS wasn't open for drive-thru until after 4 pm because they were only doing covid testing until then. Then they were turning me away, stating that the drive-thru area was having to have it disinfected by a licensed company. I had enough with CVS. Giant Eagle wasn't treating their customers second rate. I am still very happy with them"
"When a person comes in Giant Eagle and has already shopped and is waiting on their prescription that has already been e-scripted in, you don't tell them to come back at 2pm. It's 11am. I live on the East side and do not drive. There is literally no one else waiting on a prescription. Every other pharmacy takes care of people who are waiting first. I am done with Giant Eagle Pharmacy, and will shop elsewhere because of it."
"I hedged about leaving 2 stars instead of 3 because the overall courtesy of the staff was excellent and the cash price for generics through GoodRX is ALWAYS the best by far at GE. Here is where I have a major issue with this and so many other pharmacies and doctors - the head pharmacist, despite not being outwardly cold or unfriendly at all, had a suspicious, snitch type nature about the clonazepam I was filling (a small, 3 day supply written by a Cleveland Clinic ER Dr.) to the point she delayed filling my script by nearly an hour to "compare notes" with him, make sure he knew I already received the same medication from a different Dr (dear Giant Eagle Pharmacist - do you honestly think any Clinic Dr is not going to do the due diligence of accessing the exact same database you do?) there's no doubt in my mind that if I was a stodgy old lady or a guy in a business suit as opposed to a tattooed scruffy dude who hadn't slept in 2 days this would not have happened. I'm well aware that most anti anxiety meds are schedule IV (which is ludicrous, but beside the point) and having taken them for 3 years I also am well aware of the responsibility Dr's and pharmacists have when writing/filling them. But this was completely unnecessary policing of a legally prescribed medication written by a member of the #2 hospital in.the.world. Please stop thinking it's your job to be Inspector Javert every time your idea of a hoodlum comes in to fill a valid prescription. If I was filling 100 tablets of hydromorphone I'd completely get it, but inconveniencing a suffering patient (and probably a dozen other ppl in the process) over 2 days worth of the most benign medication on the FDA list of controlled substances is what they call "beyond the pale". GE owes me an apology imo, and an unconditional one - not the standard and disenguenish; "I'm sorry sir BUT - - - -"."
