Reviews
"Just a stone's throw from Cleveland's oldest Irish pub, The Flat Iron Cafe, the park hosts a monument to the Irish Famine. Erected in 2000, the stone, bearing a Celtic cross on one side memorialized the victims of the Great Hunger as well as emigrants who came to Cleveland to escape the potato famine (1845-1850). The marker is between a pair of flag poles with the US flag as well as the Irish flag. The park affords a nice view of the recently reopened Center Street Swing Bridge (closed in January 2022) reopened in October 2023. Originally built in 1901. There is an interesting triptych mural on the Superior Detroit Bridge (Veteran's Memorial Bridge) running overhead."
"Nice view of downtown Cleveland and the Cuyahoga river"
