Ann's Hallmark Shop

"We generally enjoy Hallmark. However, all it takes is one person to ruin it. My wife and I went in to buy some Advent candles. We do this every year. We hadn't been to this location before. We enquired about them, and we were greeted with friendly and happy faces. One of the associates found them for us, then she proceeded to say she should know about them because she's a "recovering Catholic." As a practicing Catholic, I took offense to this. If you're not aware, this is someone who has had a bad experience with the church. Think "recovering alcoholic" for reference. I don't care what you say in a private setting, but she said this purposely out loud knowing very well that we were Catholic. I didn't say anything to her, and we walked out. We won't be back to this location again."

"I bought a bunch of Hallmark Christmas movies for my sister which I couldn't find anywhere else. And of course the card selection is spectacular!"

"I had gone half an hour out of my way to visit this location because they were supposed to have a gift I was looking for for my niece. I ordered online to pick up in store, only to be told when I arrived there that they'd sold the one I'd paid for to someone else, and that they'd have it for me in a day or two. Just rang them to find out whether they had it, only to be told by one of the people I spoke to that he had no recollection at all of the conversation we'd had and that they were washing their hands of the whole thing. Meanwhile, the authorisation for the purchase showed up on my account the day after I'd gone in and been told they no longer had the item I'd bought and paid for. Supremely unhelpful. Not even an apology for the substantial inconvenience. If I could give them 0 stars, I would, but Google doesn't offer that option."

"Google and the Hallmark site said that this store is open until 8pm and so I went at 5:30 pm with my 3 year old to get him an ornament. It was closed at 5pm leaving one unhappy kid."
