"A lot of interesting local history. The collection of miniatures is fascinating. The Pogue experience was a little underwhelming, but there is some great potential there."
"Absolutely amazing stop. Such well- displayed and well-preserved artifacts and collections! Do not miss the Kathleen Savage Browning Miniatures Collection-astounding collection that's only 1/3 of her total collection (it rotates). Four collections all in this spot: Regional History Galleries Old Pogue Experience Genealogical & Historical Research Library and the Kathleen Savage Browning Miniatures Collection"
"Great place to spend a day to check out, admission includes next door at the newer pogue bourbon museum. Happy to see it open on good Friday. Love the miniatures section, apparently only showing 1/3rd of the collection making it the second largest in the world and when they show 2/3rds or more it becomes the world's largest. Cool section on browning pulleys too for a limited time with free v belts if anyone needs one! The historic cemetery is accessed right to the side and behind the museum, lots of sites to check out within walking distance."
"This museum is all about the miniatures! They are amazing down to the tiniest detail! The miniature paintings & artwork are real. We spent almost 3 hours just looking at all of them. They have the Spenser House which is a tribute to Princess Diana's childhood home & the details are incredible! Its definitely worth the visit!"
"This museum was great! My children thoroughly enjoyed it. There are some beautiful detailed items there. They also had a really neat air and space exhibit that my kids loved. They got to make paper airplanes and rocket ships. It was well worth the visit. We also did the Pogue Experience which was interesting to learn about the Kentucky bourbon history. Overall great place."
