"Absolutely worth the visit. Not only is their great historic items in here but also fun things for younger children to enjoy and explore. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area!"
"This museum is a fantastic showcase of local history in all terms. The displays are well done, the information is easy to access and they do multiple community events throughout the year"
"Bad timing for us. Set up for Halloween. I came for history and to take pictures of the cars and artifacts. Everything was covered in Halloween decor, cobwebs and in some spots demonic decorations. No lighting in the barn, some exhibits blocked off. Always on the hunt for 1893 worlds fair pieces. I was surprised to find some things here but couldn't actually see some of it because of decorations. Just depressing, I'll likely never be through again as it took me 46 years to happen to pass through."
"We did not pay to enter the museum but we did walk the grounds for free. Neat old buildings from history that are well preserved."
"Was looking for something new to try out and definitely glad I stumbled across this. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a very friendly employee who gave us a bit of info about the items on display. My husband and teen daughter loved all they had on display. I loved that they had the houses on site. It was definitely a step back in time. My daughter was even enjoying hunting for all the hidden mummies in displays. As we were leaving I saw the memorial next to the bell. I wish there had been more info on it as I am not from the area. It definitely sparked my curiosity though and as soon as we got home I looked up the Death in a Sunny Street. The actual book was online to read so I read it last night. It is definitely a heartbreaking story. Great place to visit and the price is perfect for what is there. Will be back in the future I'm sure."
