Reviews
"Poor service, absurd prices, dusty or otherwise headache inducing, and generally looks like a hoarder’s overflowing closet. Wish there was a better option in Milford. PS: these shoes aren’t fit to sell, let alone for $11?!"
"If I could give zero stars I would. A big fat zero! I had an emergency and had to go get my daughter. I had everything in a black basket. I gave it to a girl at the front desk and ask her if she could hold it while I'll go take care of some business and I'll be back. The reason I didn't purchase anything because they had lines backed up, which is expected because it's the holidays. I come back and the lady that has the accent that does not shut her mouth and is constantly talking, (maybe lines would go faster if she would shut her mouth,) put all my stuff back. She proceeds to tell me that they can't hold anything and she put it back. I actually took my time and dug through those bins because I purchase stuff as cheap as possible. It all comes out of my pocket. I purchase stuff for kids that are sick. I make goodie bags for them. It makes a whole difference in their life and they are not as scared being treated when they know they will get a present at the end of their visit. So needless to say, the lady with the accent that doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut AND continues while walking out the door, assuming she is off work now had put all my stuff back. I donate and I give lot and I don't have a lot to offer but I try my best!!!. I tried to give back all I can for this world. That was rude and nasty what she did and I will not be back at this St. Vincent de Paul. Nor will I donate to this place again. Not only is it because she put my stuff back and I took time going through this stuff for sick little kids but she continued to run her mouth walking out the door about the situation and was making it worse. Then she wants to be a smart aleck at the end of the conversation and tell me have a good day with a smirk on her face and a chuckle. I'm sure if she knew what I bought that stuff for she would have changed her mind. Unless she's just heartless because that's what it seems to me. People like that don't need to work with the public, especially ones who won't shut their mouth and continue to make the situation worse. Horrible horrible customer service!"
"The worst and most hateful environment, clientele, and employees i’ve ever encountered. My partner was minding their business and the people here refused service, stared at, pointed at, and blatantly ignored them. It did not feel safe or friendly for ANY of us, and we’re white. The employees were antagonistic and snobby. People in the parking lot CIRCLED us, pointing and staring like we’re animals in a zoo. If you’re looking for animosity, stupidly high prices, and the stink of self righteousness, come to this place! You’ll leave with a heavy dose of anxiety and an emptied wallet. I see the owners have done nothing to address this behavior either, and that’s more telling than anything. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere."
"The store was pretty clean overall. Someone clearly puts a lot of care into organizing the clothing. Some of the other sections were much less organized. I didn't find anything to buy this time, but it wasn't from a lack of selection. They had lots of clothes, books, and more."
