"Cell / Internet service was terrible at some points, none at all, and phones go to sos mode only. I couldn't pay for things with credit cards. I know this resulted in less sales for the vendors. If the family got separated, there was no reaching anyone on the cell. So you aimlessly walk around trying to find your group. The food was good, especially the sirloin tips and potatoes. Let's not forget funnel cake, yum!! The cost to get in the gate was a little expensive, especially with the bad sevice but the fair food was worth it!"

"The Darke County Fair was fantastic, as usual. Loads of fun of all kinds and so much food, it's hard to decide what to eat. Weather was perfect with plenty of shade and restrooms. Nice carnival rides and games, too We had the best time!"

"Even though I live in Preble County, I have always went to the Dark County Fair. The kids have fun riding,there's a nice variety of food. It's nice that there are good shade trees. I only play about 2 games. The prices of playing games has went up so much over the last few years that you can't really afford to play...especially for the prizes you get(or don't get if you don't win). Ride prices has also gone up but it's worth it to get the arm band because it's between 4-7 tickets per ride. And you can't go wrong with homemade ice cream!! We'll be going a few more times before it ends. After this post,I'd like to thank the first responders who were there. They kept busy with 2 ambulance transports during the derby. Thanks for always watching out and helping others!!!"

"Tons and tons of food trucks, enjoyed watching whiskey meyer in concert. Large police presence throughout fair ground and concert. Good, safe time for the family"

"Love love love the darke county fair ♥️ it's a yearly tradition. All the events (motorcycle races, concerts, demolition derby, etc) are incredible and so enjoyable! So many food and shopping vendors. Love seeing all the happy animals."
