Kingsbury Park

"By the river, tennis court is super clean. A place to walk with the kids. They have a NEW improved park they just added. Come check it out. They even have a handicap swing that is in full function and honestly my 14 month old really likes it."

"This park is fundamental to this town. Overlooking the river it is scenic. However they took down the old playground equipment and moved the playground. The new equipment is nice. Now the main space of the park is just empty. I wish the space was being utilized better. Maybe a great skate park to use skateboards and somewhere to rollerblade or roller skate? In the winter and ice rink would be great. Our town needs more for older kids. We want them to spend less time indoors. Let's give them more to do. The park is dog friendly. There are restrooms and plenty of picnic worthy spots."

"After living my whole life here in defiance, it's great to see the city revamping the area. They bought some of the houses to open up the area, they removed the old Playground and installed a new UPDATED area. The ares has rope climbing sections, slides, swings both kid and baby sizes. And they also made a Wheel chair accessible swing ! The area looks brand spanking new and there's definitely some revitalization happening with in the city parks. Kingsbury use to be a major spot for picnics, grilling and family fun. With Defiance putting in more effort, future generations can now enjoy it still."
