Effective Living is a health institution located at 20800 Center Ridge Road in Rocky River, Ohio. We offer quality and affordable psychiatric, psychological, and counseling services for both children and adults. For in-person Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for substance abuse, the cost is $20 per person for uninsured clients and is covered for insured clients. An intake is required for admission into the IOP program and can be arranged by calling our office at 440-333-4949.

At Effective Living, you can see a counselor within a week, sometimes even within a day. Our prescribers have no waiting list, and if you are interested in a consultation regarding psychiatric medication, you can schedule an appointment after two counseling sessions.

We also offer group meetings on Wednesdays from 7-8 pm starting September 20th, focusing on PTSD, coping strategies, and effective living. The cost is $35 per group meeting, which may be covered by insurance. If you are not a current client, an intake may be partially or fully covered by your insurance.

Our experienced professional staff at Effective Living has been providing psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals and families in West Side Cleveland for over 30 years. We have a diverse team trained in the latest methods to treat a wide range of issues. We are also a teaching facility for graduate students in clinical social work and psychology from various universities.
