"They open at eight. Their phones don’t come on till 8:30. It’s 8:45. Phones still aren’t on. Med refills take at least two days. I like my PA and counselor. Sometimes there’s a nice girl at the front desk and sometimes there’s a dismissive lady. Which is fine cause most of the time I have video appointments."
"If you don’t have insurance watch out nearly 400$ for first office visit which later they call and code as an evaluation even though I wasn’t really evaluated I was just told about the facility and the program and what they offer. A few why didn’t you come in today questions isn’t exactly a psych evaluation to me. Even when my insurance will cover it it still ends up being extremely high priced for mental health. Sorry but those prices are enough to cause more mental health issues than a person had before even going there. Personally seems like they are more interested in money than helping you heal"
"Out patient front desk staff were rude and dismissive. They didn't respond to my pharmacy's requests for authorization for weeks. Delaying getting medication. Completely unacceptable."
"On there big bright yellow card it says call for transportation but that's on their terms. They have an evening program but they only offer the day time members transportation. Welcome to the American health care system. This is why people kill themselves. There is no help for the helpless and no hope for tje hopeless... Just sad."
"I’m only giving it one star because zero wasn’t an option. My grandpa was admitted on Monday the 18th, where we were told he would receive medical attention from the doctor right away, he would be put into group therapy & be along side of likeminded people. Instead, he was locked up in his room with no tv, no personal belongings, no group therapy, & no doctor either. All doors are electronically locked, which is understandable, but they never explained that to him. The nurses were told that he needs hearing aids, but they locked his hearing aids up & wouldn’t allow him to have them. They continued to ask him questions & when he took a second to try to hear them, they thought he was confused & had memory loss. They even mentioned early onset dementia, after only asking him a few questions. In reality, he just needed the hearing aids that they took away from him to answer their questions. My aunt had called Tuesday morning to talk to him, but she was told he was in group therapy & wasn’t able to come to the phone. She called back later to find out that he was never in group therapy, he was just unaccounted for. We were told we could visit him the following day, so we did. The moment we stepped into the waiting area, we heard a man screaming “they’re trying to kill me, please help”. This went on for the hour that we were there. (Maybe it was a good thing my grandpa couldn’t hear anything). We noticed cuts all over his cheeks, chin & neck. We found out that they were from a nurse who shaved him & obviously didn’t know or care to know what she was doing. These cuts weren’t normal little cuts you get when shaving, there were chunks of skin missing. When we told the nurses we wanted to take him home, we were not allowed. My aunt has control of his medical decisions & was told that since he voluntarily signed himself in, that we were allowed to take him out at any time. But that wasn’t the case, we were yelled at, talked down to & threatened when we told them he wanted to come home. After an hour of arguing, the nurses finally called a doctor to see if he could be released. He was finally released & we never received an apology or even an explanation of what went on when he was in there. I’m disgusted by the way they treat their patients & their family members."
