"Do not take your children to see Tanja F. Barco, APRN-CNP. I could not believe as a mom taking my 7 year old to a doctor that she had the remark to talk about “using needles after school.” I choose to delay vaccinate my children and my daughter needed a new primary care doctor and some updated shots. I didn’t want to do all 4 suggested to me at once. I said I’d do 2 for now. My daughter whined about having to get shots and this woman made a snarky comment on “well that’s good, at least you’re not using needles after school” I am shocked. I was in such disbelief that I don’t know why I didn’t leave the room right then and there. Right before she left and said they would be in to do the shots and my daughter of course whined no. She shouted “well I don’t want you get polio where you can never walk again, so I win!” And left the room. So unprofessional and doesn’t seem to even like children. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she just did not want my children to be seen by her. She was not warm and full of smiles. She was rude and judgmental. Who talks about needles as in heroin in front of a 7 year old? I will NEVER come to this location for anything ever again. I am hoping to reach out to a supervisor and the Ohio broad of health about this."
"Overall unsatisfied and left in pain. I arrived at Metro health Middleburg heights around 6:30. They are open until 7:30 at the Express Care. I checked in and was told to wait in the waiting area which is fine. They called me back and took my vitals and then they had me talk with someone about my symptoms. After we've talked about it they tell me there's too many people ahead of me and they won't be able to see me tonight but I can come back tomorrow. It's only 7:00 it's not even 7:30 yet. I understand that they need to get the employees home in a timely manner but this was a wildly disappointing way to do it. I came here straight from work because I hardly get time off it was so relieved that I would finally get someone to help me with my pain and health issues going on just to be told go home after already doing all of my initial check-in steps. If there's that many people ahead of me and you're not even going to let me be seen why bother checking me in it all?? Overall super disappointed. The employee herself was friendly when she told me so I guess I appreciate that she wasn't rude but this was super frustrating. I can't change my work schedule if they're not going to see patients more than a half hour before closing they need to write that somewhere next to the hours sign because I would have never been in this problem in the first place"
"Terrible, online showing "not busy" call and they say 20 minute wait. Show up and say that I can wait three hours if I want, but probably won't get in. Then I'm told to find somewhere else online. After all the metro locations that are supposed to be open and after calling find out they are closed. I thought this was Healthcare???.... nice thing to leave patients with no answers or nowhere to go. Oh, I guess we can all go to the ghetto downtown to the E.R. and pay through the nose after waiting several hours. Yeah, that's an option..... The guy at the desk was not very polite especially with the circumstances. I need to get my daughter to a doctor so she can go to school. I'm glad that you all don't care though, I assume that they expect the people just can't get sick on a Sunday and have all the time in the world to accommodate their schedule. Nothing but run around I think I'll take my "business " else where because that's all you care to be is a business. Thanks for nothing. This isn't the first time I'd have issues with metro, but I'm pretty sure it'll be the last."
"I took someone to this clinic for pulmonary tests. They took us on time. The technician was very polite and patient. We did not understand the results in my chart though."
