"Worst experience to date in any ER. Definitely not to Akron Children's standards. Spent no time with us and joked about a serious head injury. Needs to be in a lab or elsewhere that is non patient facing......."
"I took my son to the ER because after calling my dr. my dr said he needed to be seen for ear infection(this was 1am). I told the ER this. Dr. Singer said his ears were fine and wanted to check for a intestinal issue.(my son would continue to cry and cry). After an x Ray and an ultrasound, he told me he was just gassy and fussy. My visit summary said diagnosis: excessive crying. Friday afternoon my sons dr said he has a double ear infection and his ear drum ruptured. I’ve had this dr 3 time in the ER for my son. And all three times he has failed as a dr."
"Worst doctor I've ever experienced"
"Twice I have brought my daughter into the ER and she was seen by Dr. Singer. First time, was a suspected ear infection and when he looked into her ears, he said that he could not see her ear drum due to collected wax. So he took one of those little tools with the loop on the end to dig the wax out, and dug and dug and dug!! Until her ear began to bleed! Then he decided that he would call in a special kind of water treatment to try and flush the water out, and called it in on the wrong ear! So after putting a liquid laxative in the wrong ear and flushing it, we had to start all over on the correct ear. Second time, my daughters lip had gotten stuck between her top front teeth after being hit with a door. He laid her on the table and began pulling on her lip and tore it. He then proceeded to tell me that the frenulum was ripped and not stuck, after just ripping her lip himself. He called for a second opinion and of course that doctor also said it was just ripped because she was looking at the rip he had just caused. My daughters lip did not bleed at the time of the accident, and did not bleed anywhere after until he forcefully pulled her lip out of her teeth, with no success by the way. So now, the next day I have to take her to another doctor to be looked at because her lip is still stuck, and swollen and you can see where the tissue is stuck, it is now grey and dying. I would not reccomend this doctor if he was the last one on the earth! He is very inconsiderate to the pain he puts his patients in, and it's ironic that he works for pediatrics because they can't tell him to stop."
