"I am so grateful to have found Jen and the rest of her team at The Cole Center. I have recommended this practice to all of my loved ones in search of mental health care, and they have been cared for in the same trauma-informed, ethical, compassionate ways as I have been the last several years. The practice is competent in treating several different issues using a variety of techniques, but they have demonstrated proficiency particularly with trauma, LGBTQ+ folks, and ADHD. If I could give 10 stars I would."

"I am very sorry to post this review of the Cole Center because they provided me with a wonderful counselor in a time of need who I wish I could continue to see. From the start, I had billing issues where they mishandled the billing in my first year with my insurance and it took over a year to correct most of the issues. Then when the issues were corrected there was one outstanding bill that I disagreed with and attempted multiple times to discuss with the business office. The only individual I was able to get in touch with was the person who answered the phone who knew nothing and could not adjust anything. Unfortunately she did not feel it was important enough to put me in touch with anyone who could assist. She was inconsiderate and unhelpful and never was able to connect me with the business office. During this time my credit card was charged automatically 3 separate times despite never providing the Cole Center with automatic approval from me to charge it for services rendered. I attempted to have this removed by emailing, calling (5 separate times), and communicating through the portal but non of these methods worked and my card continued to get charged for what i have determined to be fraudulent charges due to lack of approval. I unfortunately had to make the hard decision that I could no longer do business with a company that had such unethical practices and lack of caring that they refused to put me in touch with someone who could help. I called and informed them it was time to move on and to have someone who cared give me a call if they would wish to salvage the patient relationship. I received 2 calls both after 6pm which I attempted to call back on and still have yet to get in touch with the company. It is clear the therapists care about their patients but the business office is just a business office who you can't get in touch with without any lack of caring. I recommend going somewhere else, as they do not know how to run a fee for service company."

When I initially reached out for services, my complicated schedule made it difficult but the owner stepped in and made sure I received the support I needed. The support from the the staff helping me through many insurance changes so I could continue to receive treatment, through the actual treatment from my therapist has been influential and positive. I am extremely grateful for this practice and the people here who take priority in helping those who need it."

"I remember the first time I called I was panicking and crying because I felt so stuck. I felt awful crying to whom I thought was the receptionist, and turned out to be the co-owner. He was extremely compassionate and told me something along the lines of, "I think we have someone who will work well with you." Since that first interaction over a year ago I've felt welcome and cared for by all staff. My therapist, Julia, has been incredibly supportive and positive. The owners genuinely care and want people to grow. I've been in and out of therapy for most of my life and I've never felt so supported as I have working with The Cole Center. I recommend them to everyone who says they might need a therapist, joking or serious."
