"fantastic facility our family loves it"

"My husband was in there for 11 days and they intentionally took our benefits away, even mine and I was not even in there as a patient. We have been fighting for our benefits back for weeks! They are running a scam on each and every one of you that needs rehab for what ever your issues are! My husband broke his hip and we are in our 70s. The center for family and jobs in Scioto County is also in cahoots with this particular nursing home. We have contacted Columbus to file a formal complaint. And we will not rest till we expose them. Also we have employees that are backing up our complaints."

"My grandmother whom I have POA over, was placed here from SOMC per my request, for rehab due to multiple mini strokes the week before. (She also has dementia) I asked the very first day if they needed my POA paperwork and was told no by the nurse. Her insurance only covered 5 days. They spoke with my grandmother after doing a "mini mental assessment" and asked if she wanted to stay and be billed 300 per day as private pay. First off, she didn't want to be there at all and asked daily to leave, but I was told she scored a 12 out of 15 and consented to staying!!! This conversation took place in frontbof my grandmother who had ZERO recollection of that conversation!!! I specifically told them day one as I do everyone, don't ask her anything and don't tell her anything, she will not remember!! Is this their way of getting paid!? Screwing the mentally impaired!? Asking their consent when they arent in the right mind to give it!? Ignoring the fact that they have a POA and including them on any decision making!? IF they have the balls to send me a bill I do plan to find an attorney. DO NOT let your loved ones be here alone if they aren't in their right mind!! You WILL regret it! I laughed in that woman's face when she said my grandmother consented. Did she not see her health problems and why she was there!? or did she and just see dollar signs thinking id be too stupid to ask questions? They want any money, they can bill the nurse who said they didn't need a copy of my POA. BEWARE!!"

"DO NOT I repeat DO NOT put your loved ones in this illgenment care facility they don't care about thier patients. They don't care if the patients drink water if thier bed ridden like my mother. Her water and table was so far away and she was so weak that she couldn't get the cup. Her lips were so dry they looked like they were coming off. She drank 3 full cups of water and still wanted more. We requested that they take time in and make sure she is able to get her water and have some. The next day same thing happened. The doctor went and visited her and found out that she has bed sores due to not flipping her and checking her to see if she has any. She even had one on her ear showing that they did not roll her frequently. This place is so sad and I feel for the patients that don't have family and when it comes to the care they get it's definitely not like family care. I also have witnessed them not taking the time or care to help feed them or encourage them to eat. Please don't put your love ones here and you have family or friends that are in this home please take the time to check in on them. This place doesn't seem to care about thier patientsonly a paycheck is what they care about."
