"They didn’t bill our insurance and instead charged my card for the full cost of the first 4 visits without us realizing it. We emailed several times and they assured us it would be refunded, but it’s been months and they still haven’t refunded the money or billed the insurance for the first 4 visits."

"Their practice sent me to collections after they were unable to charge my credit card because of problems with their own overcomplicated billing platform, which I tried to add my credit card information to for several months via multiple emails and phone calls. I was never called, or emailed regarding any warning that they planned to send me to collections, and my only warning came in a single letter in the mail. Their financial consent form also says you are “on your own” if you need to appeal any charges with your insurance, which is terrible practice considering this happens fairly often and most providers are willing to help resolve issues like these. Clearly these behaviors are indicative of a practice that cares more about your wallet than your mental well-being. I was happy to pay my bill, but was very disappointed by the lack of communication from flourish psychotherapy. I would avoid this practice in favor of one that has a more simple and less predatory billing procedures. Here’s a tip to flourish: why don’t you fix your obvious internal administration issues and try reaching out to your patients that haven’t paid their bill rather than wasting your money by sending your clients to collections."
