Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cleveland West - Westlake, an IHG Hotel

"The staff here are so friendly!!! The girl that checked us in was so most happy, friendly, and accepting host I have ever had at any hotel stay! My room was spacious and tidy, the bathroom was great with a huge shower! 1000/10, will stay here again!"

"I was not a fan of this hotel. The service on the night of check-in was horrible. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds. Me my husband and 2 children. We got a room with a king bed. When we asked about it they moved us to a different room and still, there was only a king bed but there was a couch. The couch mattress was disgusting. We asked for sheets and pillows since we did not get the 2 beds. The night person gave me an extreme attitude about the request. We asked if we could get the adjoining room. We were told it was not available that night but would be the next night. We said we would like to also have that one and we would gladly also pay for it. The next day when we asked about it we were told it was not available and they didn't know what to tell us. Once again a very poor attitude. Also, the whole hotel reeked of Marijuana. It was really strong in the hallways. I realize it is legal in most states but come on this was a hotel and there were a lot of families with small children all over the place. It was very overpowering. Overall the room other than the couch mattress was clean. The elevators were large and quick."

"The hotel itself was great, very clean, staff was very polite and courteous. If you are not traveling with children or need any type of sleep do not choose this hotel. It seems to be a party hotel for children. Loud music and running up and down the halls until well after midnight. Started again at 6am. The staff was aware of the loud guests and did nothing to mitigate."

"- Customer service on the phone while trying to book my room was very disrespectful! I asked to speak to a manager and he proceeded to tell me that he was the assistant manager, and he canceled my reservation for this coming Saturday however I wanted this hotel for my daughter to swim who is turning 8 on Sunday. She loves to swim and they have the best pool via the pictures.!!!"

"The rooms were nice and spacious. The beds were comfy. Location was good for my in-town business trip. TV did not have a sleep timer that I was able to access. Communication with room cleaning service was not ideal. The original room I was in the climate control was set to the lowest temp but it only preceded to get warmer. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk I was immediately given a room two doors down. That rectified the situation."
