Bruce H. Allen, MD

"I don’t even know where to start. Myself and the mother of my unborn child were told to go to Christ Hospital for a second opinion about her delivery options. Dr. Bruce H. Allen did not greet us, nor introduce himself. The VERY FIRST THING this man said was, “why are you here” in the most rudest of tones I ever heard. When we explained that Christ hospital was suggested to us, he said, again very rudely, “you’re playing with fire”, “I’m not giving you a second opinion go to UC” in those exact words. We did go to UC and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. I’m thankful we went to UC but the mistreatment of Dr. Bruce H. Allen was extremely offensive and unnecessary. No one deserves to be treated so harshly. He had no intention or desire to even try to help us. I can’t say enough about his mistreatment and disrespect. Anyone else who has dealt with this should go to the state board and file a complaint like I am doing."

"I have seen Dr Bruce Allen for YEARS! 2 prior pregnancies and for birth control ex. Okay years! I had my iud removed in Oct 2022. Had fallen pregnant right away but it I bled and took another test days after negative so I canceled the apt I made before passing. Got pregnant again, Jan 2023, and had a apt for March. Have been in and out of the ER for Hyperemisis gravadarm. He was treating me, had to reschedule my next apt and was dismissed from his practice. While I am in a medical Crisis! What Dr does that? Screams malpractice & Abandonment of pt!"

"I want to say I have been on a rollercoaster with my life and gave up hope on having a little one I moved from Texas to Ohio and was recommended to Dr. Bruce he is really amazing he found things they didn’t find in Texas after my miscarriage in 2019 now I’m in the road to recovery the procedure he did for me in April saved my life and also have gave me hope. I feel better now knowing that something serious was removed. I would 100% recommend him I’m not going to lie in the beginning I told my boyfriend that the first visit I went to he came off a little rude and I didn’t want to see him again but the more I talked to him the more I see that he really is a helpful person. And I will trust him for my journey when I start the process on having my first child again. Amazing individual"

"I normally see Dr Valerie Allen and she is so nice and kind and actually care for her patients, Unfortunately she took the whole month off so now I have to see Dr Bruce Allen. I spoken with him on the phone before and he wasn't really compassionated like as if he had no emotion whatsoever. I'm thinking it could have been just a bad day or not a good time but then I had my appointment with him recently and he was rude. He barely said anything to me and the whole doctor visit was an awkward mess. He didn't seem to care or have any concern about me or my pregnancy, I'm glad I had a nurse accompanied me because I would have cried if I was alone I don't really feel comfortable with seeing him again and I really want to see another doctor but the they make it seem like he is the only doctor. I'm due in about a month and I'm just hoping I don't have to see him again"

His superhero life-saving count for me, is up to 3 now. His ability to stay calm, explain what's happening in a tangible way, transition from doc to SURGEON within moments is miraculous. Dr. Allen draws from more years of knowledge, experience and OR hours than I've been on this earth (and I'm an 80's baby). I trust him with my life and the safety of my little bundles."
