"I was treated so horribly that I'm filing formal complaints. He called me a crazy cat lady and refused to treat me without a psychiatric evaluation when I asked him about sterilization. He laughed in my face and told me I had control issues when I asked about birth control side effects. I was belittled and made to feel stupid and like I was wasting his time. I have never felt so disrespected or hopeless about my medical care before."
"Dr Firestein was not my original doctor for my prenatal care but saw me several times at Goodsam due to complications. He had the best bedside manner and actually acted as if he cared! (I usually do not write reviews) He made sure I was comfortable, out of pain, made the right call to induce me early and safely. I have had trouble with several OBGYNs through Tri health. I will be making an appointment with him in the future."
"Completely lacking in empathy, makes fun of women who ask questions and treats a patient who has received bad news like a hysteric. Terrible bedside manner. Interesting how all the bad reviews on this guy keep disappearing, but he's one of those doctors who make me question exactly WHY men choose gynecology as a career. "I have never been more comfortable in a obgyn office. Dr Firestein and his great nurse immediately put me at ease and made me feel relaxed. I was also in and out pretty quick, which was great too. I wasn't rushed, I just didnt have issues. Highly recommend"
