"It's been a long 4 year road of hell for my daughter to finally get the treatment that she should've received from Dr. Breech in 2019 at the age of 16. Her exploratory laparoscopic surgery to remove suspected endometriosis and a dermoid tumor that was embedded in her ovary was a joke in 2019. She left the tumor because she "didn't want to risk damaging her ovary and impact her fertility". So she left it, which wreaked havoc on her, causing massive 7 to 9cm fluid filled hemorrhagic cysts to form quite regularly. Cysts that would land us in the ER with my daughter in debilitating pain quite regularly, risking ovarian torsion each time. She removed all visible Endo at the time of her surgery and then lasered the area surrounding it, but apparently left microscopic Endo in other areas, which would continue to grow, including on her bladder. We stayed with Dr. Breech for almost a year, trusting her extreme Endo treatments that she pushed on my daughter who also suffers from POTS. The treatments, combined with the pain, made us have to withdraw her from school and homeschool her. Her quality of life was laughable. When she spoke to Dr. Breech about her ovary pain once she laughed and said "it isn't that big, it can't be that bad. I have a patient with a much larger one and she isn't in nearly as much pain". That was when we left her care and went to another doctor. It took 4 years and the Nancy's Nook Endo group on FB for us to find a doctor that was willing to properly address my daughter's pain and get her surgery. Her dermoid tumor that had not changed in 4 years, embedded in her ovary, that was "impossible to find" by Dr. Breech was easily found by Dr. Griebel at University Hospitals in Cleveland. My daughter, who has had bladder issues for years since her first surgery had Endo growing on her bladder that had to be removed , as well as Endo in the same place that Dr Breech "treated" years ago. I know it's completely possible it grew back in that time but not if it has been properly treated. She has to go through pelvic floor therapy to address her bladder issues now. If we had stayed with Dr. Breech I'm unsure where we would be today. My daughter is finally able to have a better quality of life, without the extreme pain that she has been living with for YEARS. Pain that was once a subject of amusement for a doctor that is supposedly one of the best in her field. DO BETTER."
"She was an amazing person who clearly cared about me, when I came in for a chlamydia/gonorrhea test... 5/5 stars for sure."
