"It served its purpose for what I needed. The paint on the walls were chipping and the bathroom was a tad funky and they don't have "Do Not Disturb" signs. The main room was nice, the bed was comfortable and their Heater/AC unit was great"

"Was the dirtiest nasty room I have ever seen in my whole life. Would never recommend anyone waste your time or money to step foot in this very gross place. The bath tub was so dirty it was almost black and there was so big a hairball in drain it looked like a rodent in tub. There was dried blood in the sink and the linen were so dirty we slept on top of comforter and covered with blanket I had in my vehicle."

"The room smelled good, looked good and felt good! I was scared of reviews of all three downtown hotels, but it turned out Deerfield was perfectly fine. I booked a non-smoking, and the room (#103) smelled great! Very comfortable beds. And plenty of space for our bikes (we took the rail-trail from Columbus). No amenities, but you know that going in. Actually the fridge worked fine so we just picked up some fruit n yogurts from nearby Kroger the night before. All in all, much better than I expected. WARNING: their default booking is for a smoking room, but it doesn’t say so. I almost selected one by accident before I saw “non-smoking” below. That might explain the reviewer who was sure he didn’t select a smoking room."

"We had to stay overnight somewhere and since i have stayed here as a kid i thought itd be fine, the room we had, room 208. Had the hoop lock broken off, and the door had been obviously kicked in a time or 2. The pillows were not even pillows, the whole room was dirty but since i couldn't find any bedbugs we stayed since it was so late at night. We had a double bed room with only one towel, only good thing was the water was hot."

"I don't often give negative reviews. This is an exception. I checked out an hour after checking in. Knew I wouldn't get a refund, and didn't. Room smelled badly of cigar smoke. Headache time. Handrail was coming off stairway wall. Stairwell itself made me feel like I'd been transported to the projects. Room was ok,. Seemed clean. But the motel is next to a busy highway, so, noisy."
