"New owner is a douche bag. Can’t smoke in room but also can’t sit in your car with it running to stay warm. They charge $30 every week for “pet deposit” without you getting it back. Bathroom is very nasty and out of date. Beds are stained and uncomfortable. Fridge that only works half the time. Carpets are completely nasty and stink."
"Stayed here for the 2023 Hamvention, big mistake. Thought I could stand it for several days .... I was wrong. This is a dirty, nasty, ugly disaster area .. which needs to be condemned. Plywood and mold disaster. Don't understand how the city lets them rent out. Just read the reviews ... and mute the optimism. Was double billed on top of it all .. took months to get corrected. Locks did not work correctly - I had to pack up every morning everything I had because of the "wonderful" people whom were regulars staying there .. be WARNED .. and don't."
"Wasn't expecting much from previous reviews read ahead of time. I was still very disappointed. Walls were filthy with paint peeling all over the room. Faucets and handles pulled from wall in bathroom. Poorly fitted bedsheets revealed stained mattress underneath. Only positive thing I could say was that there is no bugs and they take pets."
"this is a beat up property. We were 4 guys in 2 rooms. One of the rooms was more nasty than the other. Stained beds. Dirty carpets. Nasty....... I think we were the only guests that didn't live there full time. Anyway we stayed. Slept dressed with my boots on. No bugs and our vehicles were still there in the morning. Won't be staying here again."
"The staff are awesome very nice and helpful even tho they put up with some really disrespectful inconsiderate people ....I love how pet friendly they are...myself my brother and my aunt pay by the week....used to we would of never come here but they have cleaned it up ALOT!!! yeah right now some of the rooms have really old tvs and furniture but that's all being replaced and upgraded. They handyman is very helpful and on the spot as well if anything is not to your standards they have no problem fixing it."
