"My friend took his car in there a few weeks ago for a simple free tire rotation. It was a very fast service. He took his car and drove less than 0.5 miles. His tire FELL OFF in Madison Avenue. Yes, they forgot to tighten the lug nuts. Enough problem? no. I drove to the shop to tell the lady my friend was in the middle of the road, and 2 of their guys followed me to Madison Avenue, where my friend was. They picked up the lug nuts from the ground and asked me if I had a jack. THEY DID NOT HAVE A JACK, so they used mine. At the end of the story, my friend is a very calm person, and he didn't say anything. If he had taken the highway, God knows what would have happened. Now my experience: I took my old car in there (a month before my friend's story), and they told me I needed to get the brake fluid replaced. So they did. 4 weeks later, I took my car to another shop, and they called me 20 minutes later and asked, "Who replaced your brake fluid? There is way more water in it than there is supposed to be." I get why people go there; many people had great experiences, but that does not mean yours will also be. This all happened between November and December 2023. Why am I posting only now? Because a co-worker just walked to my office and shared a bad experience he had in there, where he got his car back much worse than it was before (His car got undrivable less than 5 minutes after he picked it up; clearly, they do not do a test drive after fixing some cars)"

"My daughter at school in the area needed tires before winter. Found Van’s on Google Maps, went on their website, found location near school, shopped for tires on their site and created quote. Got a call from Lisa asap, discussed situation, I was very comfortable that my daughter was in good hands with Lisa and just needed to make the appointment. Appointment made, added rear brakes to 4 tires, work completed same day. Lisa called to inform me that work was complete. Daughter was very relieved that car was safe for return trip home for upcoming holidays. Communication with Lisa was great, very happy with their service and great prices, highly recommend Van’s."
