"I met Laura earlier this year as my wife convinced me to give pilates a try after working with Laura for some time, with great results I might add. Having done more traditional gym workouts/personal training stuff in the past I didn't really know what to expect. Wow, to my surprise this is the best method I have ever tried...very complete body workout, and **challenging** (which is what I need! ). It emphasizes core strength and awareness, control and precision, and for me it has **vastly** improved my overall balance. I ride a large Adventure motorcycle on and off-road where balance and core strength are critical. I find my riding skills and confidence greatly improved as I have grown with Laura's instruction and guidance in the last number of months, allowing me to tackle off-road challenges I would not have otherwise. With Laura's long experience as a licensed massage therapist, physical therapist and especially a certified Pilates instructor, she has been able to identify and help me begin to correct some issues I have such as tight hamstrings, and a stubborn shoulder (two reconstructions). I would absolutely recommend her to anyone, at any age or skill level. Besides, she's Bad A$$!"

"Burdo Studios and Laura, the Pilates Preacher, are the BEST!!! I came to Laura suffering from chronic back pain, arthritis, and some general mobility issues. "Laura has coached me through an extraordinary transformation! I’m a 61 yrs young male long-time runner and cyclist. In recent years, I had to tolerate a life with nagging minor pain. I thought it was an inevitable age-related problem and sought Laura’s help to better manage it. Here was my list of “complaints” before starting Pilates with Laura: - Needing hours to loosen up the stiffness after wake-up every morning - Feeling like a bus hit me after short runs in the neighborhood - Back pain after 20 minutes at my piano - Bad posture - sloped shoulders - Pain in my left shoulder (probably from bad posture) I am now living a pain-free life!
