UH Elyria Medical Center 630 East River Street, Elyria, OH 44035

"Unlocked bed almost fell if not for family. Transport came in to take to surgery refused to bring stretcher into cardiac room made pt get up after throwing all of his stuff into floor told him to take off his clothes and walk to stretcher in hallway. Did nothing to provide anything to protect pt dignity! Totally exposed! NO NURSE to prepare him or help. Family told to go to surgery waiting. Hostess rude then never told family when pt brought back up stairs. Dr called told in recovery and nurse would call us. Nothing 2 hrs later it’s still saying all done no word come upstairs after hostess proclaims innocence at not knowing. Terrible actress. Pt lying in bed exposed to those walking by. Family had to cover him. 43 min lots of walking back and forth but no one has come into. Heartbreaking to be told that they told pt we left him! Where are his things! Also tell housekeeping if they aren’t cleaning don’t leave notes with housekeeper instead of name. Just don’t leave anything."

"I did a very stupid thing yesterday. But I had the best experience at this hospital. Their registration guy Anthony was so cool. We were talking and laughing. He was upfront and honest with my case. Dr. Williams was excellent. I needed 5 staples in my head and he did amazing at taking care of me me. The triage nurse was really sweet as well. Overall, my trauma turned into laughter and it's thanks to this staff who took really.good care of me."

"My father was rushed to the ER at 3pm with signs of liver failure. It’s currently 10pm i’ve been waiting for 7 HOURS!! Spoke to one doctor after i found out which floor and room he was on by marching around looking for anyone or anywhere someone was working. We are currently waiting for entrance to see my dad in the IMCU, just for word he won’t be available for visitation tonight. Waste of 7 vital hours in effort to keep my dad alive. I myself go to cleveland clinic. Next time I will buy my own gurney and escort him myself to the cleveland clinic with a bottle of advil to hold him over. 1 star is generous."

"Was in the admitting room with my friend who got injured, and over heard Medical Personnel talk about "Someone outside who had a heart attack". They then proceeded to argue over who was going out to carry or assist them in for the next THREE MINUTES. The one even said "I'm done carrying people all the time, you go" This man came in unresponsive. This is extremely sickening and unprofessional. The lack of urgency in this EMERGENCY room should not go unnoticed. This is easily one of the worst Hospitals I've ever encountered besides UH Ahuja Medical Center in terms of the Employees sense of Urgency and Caring."

"I went to this hospital today to try and locate a lost item. Lost and found is cared for by the security department so I was assisted by security personnel Carl and Kevin. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had in dealing with such a situation. They went above and beyond to help me, both men were professional, helpful, kind and attentive. "A" plus plus for both guys!"
