"Had scheduled an appointment w him for December and he sent a text to reschedule the appointment in the patient portal. It took 8 weeks to get back on his calendar. My son is 18y so technically an adult. His appt came, however 9pm the night before, the Dr. canceled it due to the paperwork not being finished. I sat w my son and completed the paperwork and messaged the Dr asking if we could keep his appt if I paid for it. He sent back NO the paperwork isn't finished. I looked at the portal and his calendar said next appt 3-10-22 and 0 out of 6 for paperwork. It looked complete. I called the office number thinking maybe he didn't see that WE had done the paperwork. I didn't know if he responded bc of the text or the phone call. So i told him I saw my sonco.plete it, click signature and upload document. I understood cancelling bc of the paperwork but 3-10 is another MONTH away. Could he please see my son sooner than that. My son isn't in a hurry but i am bc my son is content not working and not going to school due to his anxiety contolling what he does. Could he see him sooner than 3-10-22. I only called to leave a message bc some psychologist don't see their phones during the day and I knew that my son's appt today was still open, it showed up on the portal. Thought he wouldn't waste an appt and my son needs help working through what's next and we had just waited another 6 weeks from our original appt cancellation. I received text 20 mins later that said "NO the paperwork isn't there. I am discharging your son. Do not contact me." He deleted my son out of his portal. This has been a 3 month time span to NOT see my son and he cancelled us first. Which I understand. I had received good recommendations from people I respected but he DID NOT measure up to those recommendations. He has NO compassion or tolerance for the mother that is concerned for her young adult's well being. I was not upset or rude at any time I merely asked the questions. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED that we waited for this "awesome" therapist that did not appear. I will let the people know that recommending him was a mistake."

"Was disappointed by our first and only visit to Dr. Baker. My son is only 12 years old and has been through too much, I was only in the room 5-10 minutes and asked a couple of questions and was asked to let them talk… Ok, I did. After the visit son came out and no follow up, no recommendation for what’s next, just “book on the portal..” when? How often? Get home to check the portal in hopes of scheduling next week… nothing until middle of next month. For someone with severe mental health needs this was incredibly disheartening. With no email contact on website and nothing to contact in portal I pasted the phone number into my text to see if it was a mobile. It was and sent a long message of why we won’t return. Only to be told “ok.” No apology, nothing at all. Very disheartened when we’ve waited so long for this appointment."

He’s a master at what he does and empowers people to believe in themselves and recover no matter how intense the trauma has been. I highly recommend him."
