He introduced himself and gave me his background which was quite impressive. He is extremely professional and patient. He was kind and stern at the same time. "An Honest Professional - Taylor is not here to make you feel good about mediocrity, but rather he strikes the right balance of pushing you while also encouraging/supporting you. He is a professional craftsman when it comes to helping others play guitar and he is just as vested in your development/success as you are. This of course requires him to be honest and manage your expectations as to what is achievable at certain points of your development and what steps need to be taken to get where you want to go. I find that he often slows me down and forces me to do some of the mundane things that develop my foundation before moving on to the next thing.
