"Dont go to this place!!!! They take price inflation seriously. Please shop around for services its not like a human hospital they offer a commodity service and you can find better service and prices if you shop around and I wish we did that before going here. We just took in a 6 month kitten that weighs just under 6 lbs to get a routine spay. Spaying is one of the most common procedures out there and we were initially told it would be just under 300$ with a chip and spay with anesthesia and at max around 500$. They pressured us to get a blood test then in the invoice said she needed extra anesthesia ( which how do you even prove that ) . So even if there was complications that shouldnt warrant a almost 100% increase on the initial estimate price. This wasnt a broken arm with emergency surgery or stomach surgery to get something removed. Why were we charged almost 900$ when we could have went to a local humane society and got it all done for 150$. Please again shop around and call 3-4 other vets in your area to get an estimate. always think and ask yourself if they are trying to upsell services to you and making you think your pet will die if they dont get certain test done. Vets use emotion as a selling technique."

"Our dog is Tiki. Tiki is sweet, docile, smart, and eager to please. She is also a rescue. We don’t know what happened to Tiki in the ~4 months of her life before we met her as a puppy. It might have been traumatic, as she repetitively submissively peed (still pees), exhibits some anxiety, and she is wary of strangers. She’s never bitten or attacked. She’s always come around to people who just respect her space and honor her presence. We have patronized Beechwold Veterinary for literally decades (22 years to be exact). Our loyalty has been earned through diligent and professional treatment of our beloved pets. We have never been anything less than wholly satisfied with the care Beechwold have demonstrated over the years. Regrettably, our experience today was different. Dr. Honerkamp entered brusquely and tentatively. She was unwilling or unable to professionally manage the exchange, only exacerbating the anxiety. She seemed to lack experience in prompt judgment to either meet Tiki on her terms or disengage – she seemed to rely on Tiki’s handler/mom to decide if Tiki should/shouldn’t be muzzled, and she spoke in condescending tones to Tiki's mom/handler (who, unlike a trained professional veterinarian, hasn’t been trained to deal with this type of situation). More energy was dedicated to labeling and deriding Tiki as hostile than was dedicated to either calmly engaging Tiki or exiting without escalating. In plainer terms, Beechwold’s treatment of Tiki and her mom/handler was wholly unacceptable. I am bitterly disappointed at how far Beechwold fell short, earlier today. UPDATED REVIEW AFTER A FOLLOW-UP VISIT WITH DR. NICOL ONE WEEK AFTER THE REVIEW ABOVE: Promptly after posting the review above, we were contacted by the practice manager who addressed our concerns in a fair and reasonable manner. We scheduled a follow-up visit for Tiki, which was just completed. Dr. Nicol and her team greeted Tiki in a warm yet professional manner and went out of their way to help ease her anxiety. Tiki was still skittish and skeptical, so we all had to put in a little extra effort, but Dr. Nicol and her team were able to complete the examination in more or less routine fashion. I appreciate the care and concern that they demonstrated, and I look forward to continuing Tiki's care (and the care of our other pets) at Beechwold."

"Was super easy to make an online appointment for my cat who needed updated vaccines. Everyone at the office was extremely nice and they took great care of my cat, he wasn’t even scared in the office. I can tell that they genuinely care. 10/10 vets office and will definitely be going here for future visits."
