Mercy Health - Allen Hospital

"Awful care, the hospital has a reputation for not taking people of diverse demographics seriously even if that just means you're a woman (50% of the population btw.... 50%). "Loses" your insurance information, does not disclose that some of their doctors or facilities are outside of your network, customer service non-existent... I could go on. I think if I got shot in the foot I would rather pull the bullet out myself with rusty tweezers than go back to Mercy Allen."

"If you need somewhere to become intimidated, more confused about your health, receive unprofessional and rushed care for simple health needs, or just want to feel worse about yourself in general, just spend 10-20 minutes with some of their practitioners and they'll get the job done!"

"Emergency room was fine. I get upstairs to be admitted was told I have to hide my medication and make sure that they know what I'm taking so I can show them my bottles but don't have them laying around. Then I was told I was supposed to take different doses of doses that I've been taking for 15 years phlebotomist named Laura was very rude after a simple question about the size of the blood draw bottles she didn't answer I said I never saw him like that big before and she said well why'd you come here? I said well that's kind of rude and at that time she jabs me but the needle it starts pulling on the hose which is hurting very bad. And this is all after she flipped the lights on at 5:00 5:15 I'm knocking just flipped the lights on. Starting my third day here not able to take a shower I guess although there's a shower in my room but I'm tired of this machine. And I think we could lay off the perfume. In such a professional environment there's no reason to try to smell like you're not in the hospital."
