Reviews
"Firstly, to be completely transparent, I’ve never actually eaten here, so I cannot speak to the food, but I am leaving a review of this place as a doordash driver who has had issues with this place consistently for months now, tonight’s problem being the worst of the bunch. I arrived to pick up a doordash order that had wings and a pizza, and was informed that the wings were done but the pizza was still in the oven. That was not a problem, I moved over to wait for it to be finished. A few minutes later, a different employee comes up to the counter and tells me that I need to go sit down and not lean on their counter, as I’m in the way. I’m bewildered at this point, because not only are the seats she told me to sit in full, but there’s also no one behind me waiting, so I was not in anyone way. She then tells me I should go stand over there then, at which point I have to embarrassingly inform several strangers that I have physical limitations preventing me from standing for long periods of time, to which she asks me to move to a different part of the counter if I’m going to lean on it, which I did even though there was literally no difference between that and where I was. I then wait another 10 minutes, before finally being informed that actually the pizza I’m waiting on was never actually in the oven, the first person lied to me and didn’t check, and that they’re making it now. At this point I’ve already been in the store for 20 minutes or so, and would have to wait another 10-15 minutes, but I was just so irritated by this whole experience that I unassigned the order and left. So all in all, I wasted about 30 minutes in the middle of my busiest time of day, taking money out my own pocket, and had to awkwardly explain my physical limitations to a snarky employee giving me attitude over nothing. Just as a few other side notes, the wait times are often long here, parking for this place is a nightmare, the stairs coming up by their door are dangerous, and their bathrooms are unexplainably right by the door they use as the entrance, so you’re often greeted by some less than pleasant smells when you go in. Those are things I could look past, but given those facts along with the terrible experience I had today, I would recommend you avoid this place, whether as a doordash driver or a customer. Edit: Adding this the day after, as I’ve had a conversation with the owner on the phone, and as you would guess by his reply to my review, he was extremely dismissive of my issues. He stated that his employee assuming the pizza was in the oven and not actually checking was perfectly okay, and said that if I needed a chair I should’ve asked for one, which I obviously shouldn’t have had to as I was in no one’s way, and if they had put the order in when they were supposed to I wouldn’t have been there long enough for it to be an issue anyway. To reply to his comment on my original review: after the first two times I had an unusually long wait, I decided I would avoid your restaurant when possible, but sometimes it’s a slow day or an order has a particularly generous tip, so I did take orders from you a few times after that. I don’t get paid to wait around as a driver, which you obviously don’t care about, as you didn’t seem to see any issue with your employee lying to me and wasting my time. I truly do hope you decide to try and improve service and treat drivers/customers better."
"First time here. Food was outstanding and the service was exceptional! We have been looking for a great Italian place since moving here and tonight we found it. Update: Had such a great first visit decided to take my father there while he was in town. The service this time was pretty awful. The server basically was rude and ignored us until it was time to drop off the bill. I could see into the kitchen the entire time and she was more interested in checking her phone then our table. Had to ask for several refills, had to ask to have the table cleared. This was after we had specifically asked for a table and was taken to a booth, only to get an attitude when we asked to be moved to a table. Due to a bad back my elderly father can't sit in the booth seats. Took almost 50 minutes to get our food and the chicken was so over cooked my father threw half of it away. For a $90 order I would expect a little better service and food. I guess I spoke to soon. We will keep looking for a good Italian place to go."
"This is a cute little spot that's located in Acorn Alley. There is street parking but also there is a small parking lot for their customers. Pizza was delicious & I look forward to going back to get it again. Zucchini fries were tasty but they are very thin. Cute decor. Friendly staff."
"Food was good and so were the portions. We went during a busy time during the wizarding world of Kent. Tried the poly juice potion drink…the “garlic wands”, the slytherin Stromboli and the sorcerer pasta dish everything was good"
"Plate of spaghetti and 6" white pizza. No complaints. Pretty tasty. Fresh pizza dough. Had a cherry pop, which was also tasty. Clean restaurant, friendly servers. Would stop back in on my travels."
