Oldies & Goodies Family Diner

"While I'm sad to have to leave a 2 star rating, your cook or cooks suck. Pretty disappointed with our dinner tonight. Our server was FANTASTIC and did great for running the whole busy restaurant alone. The temp inside was kinda chilly and I had a sweater on. Now, let's get to the food. I ordered the chicken breast dinner and my husband ordered the ham steak. My sides were fries, mac and cheese, and corn, his were cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, and baked beans. The chicken was overcooked and dry and had 0 flavor, mac and cheese tasted terrible, had a coffee flavor in it. The corn and fries were good although fries were overcooked. Then the piss poor excuse of a ham steak which was one piece that was maybe 2 inches wide and maybe 6 inches long. Tasted fine, pineapple missing. Cottage cheese was fine. Baked beans taste like ketchup. Mashed potatoes had big clumps of potato in them. The actual bottle of ketchup tasted like malt vinegar. Definitely not a great first time experience and I'm not sure that I'll be returning. The prices are great considering everywhere else but I'm wasting my money if the food is sub par."

"Definitely need to try this place out! Ordered carryout for dinner and it didn't disappoint. We had a classic burger with potato wedges & smothered chopped steak. Both were delicious honestly. The steak came with potatoes, another side & a veggie which was green beans. Everything was flavorful, and the beans tasted like my grandma cooked them all day...they were so good. The meat was tender, and the peppers and onions in the gravy was tasty as well. Their burgers are REALLY good, don't skip over those either. The menu is decent size with different options for sandwiches, wraps and dinners. I've had their fries and onion rings, sooo good. Prices can't be beat for home cooking! The inside is like a classic 50's vibe, small and cozy. Staff is pleasant and treats you like family. Oh, and they have shakes & desserts...a sweet plus. Give them a try!!"

"Highly Recommend this little family diner. The Service is Amazing as well as their food. The decorations that make up the diner are really cool to look at. You can often find a good Groupon deal as well. I have eaten here so many times, everything from Dinner, lunch and Breakfast which is my favorite. Even if you are just wanting a dessert their Milkshakes are so thick and yummy."

"The diner is small and themed in the 50s, lots of interesting things to look at. The food is classic, homemade diner food. We have had their burgers to go in the past, but today, we ate in. Our server was very personable and helpful. We ordered the smothered chicken dinner and the B.E.L.T. burger on rye bread. The broccoli salad I had as a side dish was absolutely delicious. I haven't had better since my mom passed. I highly recommend trying it! The burger was ordered by my husband, who said..."The best burger I've ever had." We usually get their omelets or mushroom swiss burgers to go...all delicious! I highly recommend their burgers!"
